Yep, I get this, it's extremely annoying. Lately it's been interrupting my sleep. Random words and random phrases. I usually try to drown it out with music but often I'll still think over it. |

Got a script for antidepressants today. I'm on the fence about taking them. I'm depressed because I should be. It's what I deserve, consequences to my (in)actions. |

EQ 7 SQ 36 Extreme Systemizing I'm not particularly good at either(both below average, apparently). But then again, I don't relate to either mindset. I don't really have much social experience, I've spent my whole life somewhat separate from others. I remember spending my preschool years watching th... |

Pretending your kid doesn't have an ASD is likely almost always harmful. Do parents of dyslexic kids hide diagnosis to preserve little Johnny's reading confidence? It's absurd. |

Lower than I would've guessed - 12.
Honestly though, I can't even grasp many of the questions. I mean, most of my own emotions are thought and not felt. If that makes any sense... |

90% or more of people with REAL autism are nonfunctional in society and unemployable, and they are unable to have friends. I can't see how this can be considered to be a not-bad thing. I am adamantly against eugenics and selective abortions. However, if there was a cure--you bet my brother would be... |

Scored 13.
I don't have OCD though. I have some anxiety about germs, I can't stand being sick, so even catching a cold will drive me somewhat panicky. None of my other obsessive tendencies are fueled by anxiety though, they're just very strong preferences. |

I wish people would realize they can't help me and give up. Then, they can quit referencing "my potential" and offering cheery life advice. Even if circumstances change, I'm pretty much incapable of being happy. I've come to terms with that, why can't they? |

Yes, but I think it's better this way. People either don't understand, or just think they do. Either way, talking things out never makes me feel better, I end up feeling judged and vulnerable. |

I think both were intentional. In both scenarios, getting the cup and paying the extra dollar are part of buying the biggest smoothie. Joe got exactly what he wanted. The fact that he doesn't care much about the cup or dollar doesn't make it unintentional. |

Nope, no friends. I'm just as incapable online as I am in-person. 98% of my conversations occur within my head. |

I know it does not matter, I just wish there was a way to prevent having any sort of emotional reaction. Yeah, makes sense, those people can be hard to ignore. However, plenty of people will and do understand that you aren't just making excuses. It's a shame that the people who don't get it won't s... |

I've found the easiest way to deal with such people is to simply say "F--k 'em". It really and truly does not matter what they think. It's good to remember, when in a sea of ignorance, who's got the paddle. |
