| heya i was diagnosed with high-functioning autism when i was 16 and now I'm almost 18 :D being diagnosed meant i understood things i didn't before. | Hi I have Autism and struggle with an eating disorder, it's not like I think I look fat, but I have an unhealthy obsession with staying thin and a fear of becoming fat. I try hard to over come it, sometimes eating in large quantities- which usually makes it worse because of the guilt! I do not know ... |

thats like me - im so happy in a strange way that i did/ have gotten ill that way... because ultimately it led to me realising im autistic, which might seem a strange thing to say  |

| Hi i only found out on Sunday that I'm autistic, and if I hadn't gotten an eating disorder I'd have never gone to the doctors and would never have known! I'm ovbs, still recovering but it is easier now I know I'm autistic =) I think it is the need for control, as well as the anxiety of getting fat :... |
