Hi Skatergirl,
I am the mom of a boy on the spectrum, and while it hurts to see his struggles I'm delighted with the successes. Ice skating is a great thing, it builds strength, stamina and confidence (something we can all use) so I wish you great success in this pursuit!

Hi Lisa, I am also the mother of an 18 year old Aspie. My son graduated from high school last spring and aged out of Boy Scouts so now his social life has dried up, and having Asperger's makes it that much more difficult to socialize at college.
