I have a gender neutral brain. I was born a women but I do not feel like one. I don't feel like anything. That's because being a woman is not something will feel. It's a fact. I would say that you don't feel like people wants you to feel like (meaning all stereotypes about women). I think. At least...

Hi, The same thing happend to me. You are not stupid! (Well, to be fair, I don't know you, so maybe I'm wrong^^) For my part, it was depression. I didn't know until it became so bad I couldn't get up, or even remember my own name (my blood pressure was 80/60 on good days, and I suspect I passed out ...

Most of the time, my brain freeze and I forget all what I wanted to say… I have trouble with people name two, sometimes I have t...

Diagnosis is not made by neurologist? I thought it was…
I thought AS could be seen on a neurological exam, why this exam is not used for diagnosis?

I'm not diagnosed so I don't know, sorry.

Do not despair now, the psychiatrist is on your side…

Never go back to his office! I myself have been to a psychologist once for my depression. I felt worse too. It's my generalist doctor who prescribe antidepressant and others meds for my anxiety. He keep telling me that I should find a psychologist but I couldn't. I regret now. You should find anothe...

I agree with Mar00, you need an official diagnosis. This topic is interesting because I think my mother will not accept my AS either. 2 years ago I made a depression (now I think it's because of my AS and not knowing I had it) and my mother didn't not accept it (impossible at my age, she said). Anyw...

I used to do that too, but in a jokingly way. I was doing the same for myself, and let people do the same about me so I wasn't seeing the harm. Eventually, I noticed that people hated that (however, I don't remember how) and stop it. It was really difficult because I had trouble to know what I could...

Thanks for your welcoming messages. Brandon : I don't know of what TV show you are talking about. Maybe foreigners try harder to be sure to be understood? But I doubt there is that much English people who don't know well their own language… I'm not from Paris, I don't like big citys. I'm from Caen, ...
