I've got this wonderful 16 (nearly 17) year old son who has PDD-NOS, constantly struggling with getting school work done. We've got all the meds straightened out but in 10th grade for the second time. Simply can't seem to do his homework. The more we try to coax, bribe, just mention, yell - you nam...

In a sense, if he learns very differently t...

Is your son maybe on any medication that might have triggered this? When I was small my mom gave me over the counter "calmets" because I was very anxious. This medication made me saw little people, funny looking men coming out of my cupboard and running down the wall and ceiling...it was a bit free...

I am an NT parent with an Aspie son: I always know that he is telling me the truth and whether I like what I'm hearing or not, I can always trust his word. There are no mind-games with him. What you see is what you get and that is a good thing. He is willing to give everyone a chance and doesn't jud...

Good evening all. This looks like a wonderful site which was recommended to me by a new friend who is an adult Aspie herself. I have a young adult son (mid 20's) who was diagnosed as having autism almost 20 years ago (before an understanding of the word "spectrum" was commonplace) and though his fat...
