Yep, I have severe hay fever, food/environmental allergies, and dermatitis. Stress/emotions definitely play a part in making them worse. The old doctors tale is "psoriasis is the rash that itches and dermatitis is the itch that rashes." It's an oversimplification, but it does make me wonder, are my ...

I used the same method as I did in Jr. High. Make friends with a bigger/more powerful person and people tend to leave you alone. At work I make a great second in command. I would find someone one tier above me that I could get along with and be their second. It doesn't take any butt kissing or defer...

"It used to bother me when people would call me a "racist" or similarly childish insults. Now, there are two ways I handle these liberals who refuse to grow up:"
I just want to point out, name calling is not purely the province of "liberals."

Having said that, I'll sign out of this thread.

Your logical argument was complex and (although technically sound) it went off point, in my opinion. It might have been better to point out that the Bible has similar problems when being translated from Hebrew as some words/phrases have multiple or unclear meanings. By proceeding down the logical pa...

I rarely do well in job interviews. I think it's because I come across as nervous and have trouble answering "on the spot" questions. My best interviews were where the interview process was short and to the point. Temp agencies are a great way to get a permanent job. Get on with a temp agency if you...

I think the first half refers to a lack of feedback and obvious emotion that makes the other person think you aren't interested or lack passion in the relationship. The second half is saying that you are far more interested/passionate than most, absorbing every detail. I think it's accurate for me.

I've got a degree in Geography, ended up working in Geology though.
This map looks pretty cool and I'm going to buy it once I get a place with enough space to hang it.

As for the traffic light sensors, you might try a large magnet.

EU3 is great. I first discovered EU2 and eventually convinced a couple of friends to play it online. Currently two of us are playing a cooperative game as Castille. It's the first time we've tried cooperative mode. Discussing the various decisions is interesting and fun. I've picked up Vicky, HOI2 a...

I have a really hard time giving compliments. Most of the time I don't think of them. When I do notice something about a person to compliment, I struggle with where to interject it into the conversation so that it seems natural and not forced.

Accepting compliments isn't as big of a problem.

Did you seriously post on an Aspergers forum complaining about wordiness? lol Why not drop the useless criticism of his communication and get straight to your comments on his theory? You have some interesting points, but they are obscured behind an aggressive approach. How is that better than being...

My advice is to resist the temptation to correct if additional information isn't going to affect the outcome of a situation. i.e.-"That's a beautiful butterfly!" The real object here is beauty, not the butterfly nor the fact that it's actually a moth. Don't correct. Appreciate the beauty. If you can...

Pardon me if I'm stating the obvious, but the hypothesis offered is that: Higher social demands of modern life lead to a higher rate of autism diagnosis. Hence, a lower rate of diagnosis amongst the Amish as fewer of them are unable to meet social demands necessary for acceptance. To address your po...

I've got eczema so my picking and scratching may not be OCD. My skin is better lately, but in the past I was obsessed with puss and scabs. I hated them and loved them. I was constantly feeling for rough spots or infections/pimples and it felt so good to remove them. These days I do my best to stop r...

Google "US congress members"

I am assuming you meant U.S. since you didn't specify.
