I agree. My family tries to guilt me for shutting myself off, but being around 5 ppl yelling at each other plus background noise is WAY past my limit for overstimulaton. My parents forced me to be more involved as a kid and I hated it. The reason I don't feel like a member of my family isn't because...

The thing is, despite having pretty typical Aspie traits (as an adult--as a youngster I had more autie traits), I have more in common with the people they call "LFA" than you might expect on first glance. I'm just not capable of forming social connections. I just... don't. I like people or don't li...

Just like most people naturally believe in Bigfoot and UFOs :) I don't think that the cases are really comparable. Bigfoot and UFOs are extremely contingent things, with specific properties. Bigfoot in covered in hair , and UFOs can fly . It would be very surprising if two cultures independently ca...

Law is what I'm talking about... take a look through the laws in your area, a fair few of them are christian laws that shouldn't apply to people who aren't christian. The research alone would take quote a long time. Perhaps you can point me in a direction, or list an example? google search "blue la...

As I've said in similar threads before, my Dad had been born in rural eastern Washington, in 1921 - a time and place where the old west had barely ended. He had never been vaccinated for anything, but just gained immunity by getting various childhood diseases. And yet, I absolutely believe he had b...
