Hello! I think I'm like you, but I've always considered myself gay. I guess a few of the things on your list don't apply to me, but pretty much the rest do. Particularly I find it interesting that you are turned off by seeing anal intercourse, fake sex, moans etc. That's exactly how I feel, too. I ... |

Sorry for the trite title but I couldn't think of anything else. I'm going to be brutally honest here. I want to know if there is even a single person out there who feels like this. I've never been so lonely as when I don't fit into any sexual category. I'm not a bad looking guy, but I just don't ex... |

... Even if I end up having fun they are still somewhat stressful... This is the weirdest part for me. When I attend a gathering it's almost never as bad as I anticipate. But when the time comes for the next one, I completely forget that I made it through the previous one and get stressed out all o... |

Can this be accounted for by AS alone, or do you think I have a commodity?
Many thanks,

Wow it's fantastic hearing about these things. I have identified very much with these responses. I have gone through the honesty route, but my friends (totaling 5-6 and fully OK with that), still keep nagging me. I think it's because they can not imagine how I would be any different in the presence ... |

I've found running the brown noise from this site at night really helpful. In fact I often have it on during the day as it makes me more calm when I'm at my computer. http://simplynoise.com/ It did take me a couple nights to get used to having the sound in the background though but its a lot easier... |

Hi, through university I put up with going to parties or clubs even though I hated them, for both sensory and social reasons. I just end up watching other people, studying their interactions in a detached kind of way. I wasn't being expected to interact really, as the majority of people were total s... |

This is worth a try. I find noticing my stims very satisfying. It's like I have stepped out of the system and made an observation about myself. I find it enticing to know what I seem like through the eyes of others. Here is a youtube vid on my stims. What are some of yours? [youtube]http://www.youtu... |

I read what you are saying, but I didn't entirely mean to bring societal roles into this, though maybe thats why I was lashing out then. I stood my ground, I guess I mean there was never a time where I wished I could be like other kids. It was a one way street - I'm not changing, how/why are you? Th... |

Hi, I am a 22 year old guy with what I imagine is a relatively strange form of sexuality (though I'm hesitant to even call it a sexuality based on it's definition). This feels like an extraneous detail, but I am a virgin. I am not looking for advice regarding this. OK so here is where I think someth... |

Red and black, not mixed, separate in some distinct kind of way that's not a clean split. Stomach (anatomy) Also, I am reading a book on synaesthesia and it's probably the best one I've come across so far, I like how it's not a "pop-psychology" book, and has some real scientific substance: Wednesday... |

10/10: if you have the patience. Hypnotic. My ears pick up/create new sub-melodies every time I hear this. Just choose the notes you want to accentuate in the back of your mind and small little auditory nothings appear/disapear. Repetition is a lot less concrete than one may think, it leaves some ro... |

....That voice meant instant hysterical fear. I couldn't have been more scared if I was looking death in the face. I've gotten used to it over the years, but I still don't like it. It kind of makes me laugh to think about it now though, because I have no idea what makes it scary at all. That is how... |

I've never heard of this band. Freaky. No kidding. It's not a band though, and it's origin is also pretty freaky if your interested: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Numbers_station The most famous number station is probably UVB 76: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UVB-76 Hear it live here: http://uvb-76.n... |
