I'm just gonna throw this in amongst all the saccharine platitudes. When I was your age I felt suicidal. I thought long and hard about it afterwards (when I no longer felt suicidal) and came to the conclusion that it was the most logical thing to do at that time. I'm not saying you should kill yours... |

It sounds like you are making snap judgements, based on a set of pre-defined observations that you have observed in people, over time. I do the same thing, even when I consciously try not to. It works as a defence mechanism and allows me to see, at a cursory glance, the kind of people I may find it ... |

I have done the same thing on several occasions. I must just assume that everyone I am friends with, everyone else is friends with too. Under the same assumption, I make the mistake of assuming everyone likes each other and that there are no social cliques. Having said this, it doesn't bother me at ... |

I worked in a student pub for 8 years. The first 4 years were spent in the kitchen, then I got coaxed on to the bar. There was a lot more physical stress in the kitchen (I am quite anal and the kitchen got quite busy), but on the bar I had to deal with people. It was quite demanding on my socialisin... |

<--- Mild aspie caught somewhere between the NT's and the Auties. Would probably do just fine in an aspie meetup group but he doesn't have the guts to leave his comfort zone for an hour or two. Snap. I'm like a socially awkward Dime Bar; autistic on the inside and 'normal' on the outside. As a resu... |

System Shock 2 - This is the most atmospheric game I have ever played. As far as I'm aware, this game is the father of RPSs (Role Playing Shooters). It has a great story, AAA voice acting, an atmosphere so creepy and disturbing that I struggle to play for long periods of time, fantastic in game musi... |

OP I know how you feel nearly on every point you have discussed. I'm 27, no job, no partner, few friends, no prospects, no real qualifications, no quantifiable skills but still there is the hope that is drilled into me from a society which says you can do whatever you want and be whomever you want t... |

I shall not argue because I know from experience that Americans are never wrong. Good luck with your guns, you clearly need them. As do the Canadians who have rampant gun crime...oh wait. |

By your country's laws he's allowed to be a seemingly racist vigilante who can carry a concealed weapon and shoot (and kill) someone who is trespassing on his property or neighbourhood. He's living out his American Dream. This is what happens when Americans hide behind a document that is over two ce... |

Personality and compatibility are the two hottest things for me. The world most attractive man would be ugly in my eyes if I couldn't imagine a meaningful relationship ensuing with him. Take my house mate for example, he's quite good looking but I find him extremely hot because he's a great guy. The... |

I've just left my retail job at the now in administration Gamestation and I used to run a kitchen. I was good at the retail job even though the stress became too much and I was excellent at the kitchen job but it's just so hard because my standards were so high and other's were not. Both jobs carry ... |
