I chose ages 11-13 as I had just moved to a secondary school, leaving behind my best friends. My new friends weren't really friends and teased me and stuff which was crap. I was a loner at lunch and just walked around the playground. I love school this year (upper sixth) because now people know what...

I'm really good at maths and I teach myself A Level. Got 90%, 92%, 97% and 98% so far in the modules. Two more left. I'm sort of good at English. I also do it at A Level but I have a problem with essays where I just write everything down with no structure. I don't know whether I have Asperger's or n...

I also got 2 books about maps for Ch...

Both my (not speaking to each other) parents see me as a 15 year old who sits in his room rather than go out. They think I am failing school because I am lazy and keep handing me newspaper articles about people being addicted to computers. Completely ignoring the massives of computer programming I ...

Say, "Hi, mom and dad [or mom and mom or dad and dad or mom and mom and dad or any other combination you may have]. I think I might have Asperger's Syndrome." Then explain to them what it is and why you think you have it. Do it like you would in a research paper or an essay. Yeah my mum knows about...

I'm in the same position as you, just a few years younger. I know in the UK you get officially diagnosed by talking to your GP, he'll then reference you to specialists etc. As for telling your parents, I guess it depends on your relationship with them.. I don't argue with them much and I get on qui...

I think I might have AS... Ignore the next bit if you don't like 'Do you think I have AS?' threads. I used to tip-toe walk all the time, I had poor gross motor control skills when I was younger according to my Reception report, I walked really weirdly until recently and used to get teased for it, I ...
