| Thank you both, you're right and I will continue trying to help her and getting help where needed if needed, I won't push a label on her unless I am certain of Aspergers but until then I will just watch and wait and be her Mum, but I will push for a label if it fits so that she can get support and h... |

| perhaps having Aspergers you are more likely to follow the rules, if he follows your rule to the point where kids laugh at him then he most definitely will follow a no violence rule, if you feel you know him enough not to response by copying the game or become distressed then I would just let him p... |

You wrote it's really important to remember that a teen on the spectrum probably cuts him/herself for different reasons than a NT teen. | you should try making gloop, it's just cornflour and water until it's a slightly thick texture but when you hold it, it turns into liquid and falls through your fingers, but you can pick it up and roll it in a ball and then it 'melts', it's really cool and keeps kids and adults busy for ages. | well it would feel awesome wouldnt it, it's the pressure on your hand as you push the plunger thing down, it feels good and then cause and effect the soap squirts out, its just...brilliant. i suppose you cant be having that everywhere though so you should make less...awesome, make the plungers less ... |
