I think Spot would be a good name. He looks a lot like Spot the cat who was in the Hong Kong Phooey cartoons. Um but maybe no one else here is old enough to remember that. |

I can see by your number of posts you haven't been on WP long enough to see all the years of nasty crap the guys write about women on here. Oh and by the way guys you are not suppose to be in the Women's forum even looking. makuranos... |

No one is buying candles or other such nick nacks in this economy. People are finding it hard to even put food on the table and keep a roof over their head. |

My suggestion is first regardless of how you feel about it join the union because they are the only one who can save your butt. You don't want to be unemployed right now because there are thousands of applicants for every job advertised in much of the country right now. And being a weird acting Aspi... |

I am just so OVER aspie guys talking about us, women and women over 40, as if we're fembots to be reverse-engineered...and its mostly the younger ones. I need to just stop reading their posts. It also sickens me to see how they plot their conquests. I imagine one of my single friends being patroniz... |

Jiu jitsu is not a good fit for a lot of Aspies due to many not wanting other people to be touching them. And having strangers grab at you is not a pleasant experience for many of us. At the school I studied at we were forced to learn Hapkido and Judo in addition to the Taekwondo and I hated the gra... |

I've been described as "caustic". that's actually how i learned about the word. I'm like, caustic? what the *** does that mean? I think by caustic they are saying cruel. Like our tendency to be overly blunt to the point of harshness. Or in other words we are too honest and do not hold back what we ... |

I would just call it wishful thinking. Wishing you were something you aren't. Sure a lot of us would like to be smooth talkers, sauve and calm, but in all actuality I've not heard an Aspie speak outloud yet who didn't sound like a complete dork regardless of how much practicing they do in their mind... |

But you do realize if you son has any form of autism he will never be normal. There is no cure no matter how much social skills training he has. His brain is not like NT brains. He can't be normal; organically he is different. You as a mom can help him a lot by making exaggerated facial expressions ... |

I've never smoked pot. Pot is illegal by the way. I saw an article recently by Dr. Sanjay Gupta on the physical harm pot causes. Its not safe. Pills aren't safe either but pot is even more dangerous. People that consume either one without concern are stupid fools. And by the way you keep bringing up... |

I never heard of GAF. Guessing my score would be 38-40. None of you have ever seen a GAF rating chart have you? . If a person scores below 40 they are considered unsafe to have loose in society and at a certain level its a legal requirement to lock them up in a psychiatric ward. In the 20-30's rang... |

That kind of behavior will get a boy in trouble these days and get them accused of assault or sexual harrassment. |

curl my left hand up when I walk (I notice that a certain subset of people with Autism do this with a hand...), rock when I sit, etcetera. Oh I do that. You need to put your bags on the belt first ahead of the groceries so that the bag arrives at the bagger before the items do. |
