Thanks, Omniel, those are a good start. I think I recognize some of those, as I have been searching on Craigslist, but some I may not have seen previously. Thanks!!

I am currently looking for a place to live. Let me give a quick backstory as to why. My mom passed away exactly one month ago today. I am the only child. I have high functioning autism but am able to do many things - feed myself, bathe myself, dress myself, drive a car, all of that. I had to move ou...

I second kraftie, welcome. Yes, I feel like that a lot of times myself. I only keep in touch online with 1 or 2 friends from high school as well, but I only hear from them when they have the time to respond which isn't that often. Do know that we'll be here to support you. And I am an old Georgia bo...

Just can't get myself to accept the new one. Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II is the Ghostbusters to me. There is the PC game from a couple of years ago that is sort of a Ghostbusters III in a way, as it had the original actors doing the voices.

I like it fairly well. I watch it every once in a while on Hallmark or Inspiration, as both of those channels air the reruns. The final episode, "The Last Farewell", packs a big emotional punch, there's no other way to describe it.

I remember bits and pieces of his era on there. One that still sticks with me to this day is when he would show videos of funny signs such as street signs. One that I still laugh about is a street named...PuPu. So he said, "If you come to the corner of PuPu and PuPu, watch your step!" LOL.

From Jimmy Buffet's "Margaritaville" song:

An actual line: "Searching for my lost shaker of salt"

What I heard: "Searching for my lost chigger saw" (whatever that is, LOL)

If you haven't already, I would recommend watching the 90 minute documentary film on him that came out in 2013, "Starring Adam West". It gives a lot of information and insight on the rise and fall of his career due to "Batman", what he had to do afterward, and his eventual return...

I do! I have watched it from the very beginning. I can't believe ABC is making the fans wait until March for it to return, though. :x

I am reluctantly trying to, my heart just hasn't been in it. This year has been rough. Both my cat and also a former neighbor both died in February. My mom's sister died the day after my mom's birthday In October. Then a friend to both mom and I died last month. Too much loss this year. I will still...

Butterfiend, I am so sorry that you are in such emotional pain during this time. I sort of feel what you feel; it bothers me that year after year no one ever bothers to check with me to see what my plans are on Thanksgiving, so I try to make the best of it. I too get a little angry that others I kno...
