A combination of optimism, crazy goals, obsession, and dreams keep me alive. Trying to live my dreams and accomplish my goals is enough to keep me alive (though sometimes it's more than difficult...)

I tried to pull the aspie card a few times but I failed. People did not know what it is... and explaining ends either in "I don't understand." or "You don't look that way." So it doesn't matter. I'm awkward enough that people notice it, but not awkward enough that they notice how different I am. I t...

For the last 1.5 years bodybuilding. I've tried martial arts and football but I've noticed that team sports (>2 ppl per team) aren't my thing at all... Was a goalkeeper for 15 years and it was enough teamplay for me.

I hate the telephone. It is even more difficult than a face-to-face conversation. On the phone I never know when it's time to talk and the other person does not see the question mark on my face (so that he can react to it). Face-to-face is more information. Even when I do not get all, I have a bette...

But my social skills did get better. It was only later in life that I was officially diagnosed with Asperger's, and as with you, I found it very much relieving. Hang in there. Knowing where I differ from other people helped. You're right, it was very much of a relieve. It was the first time that I ...

And I'll add - - I don't know how things work in Germany, but here in the United States, it's the landlord's job to make repairs. Yes, it is the landlord's job to make repairs but it will take 4-5 months until someone can live in that apartment again. So I had to move out. Your parents don't accept...

Hi all, I have a "little" problem. 7th december I had a water damage in my apartment caused by the other people living in the house. I had to call the plumber, rescue my furniture, did not sleep much during that time and I already felt the first warning signs of a meltdown. My landlord said, that I ...

Interesting Topic! :-) This week I went to the library and on my way back, while sitting in a café, I met a beautiful looking young woman. She approached me and asked me out... While sitting in the train on my way home, I wondered if she had done so, if she knew where I was coming from and how weird...

That works for even high rated RBG but I think not for high rated Arena (but maybe I'm playing with the wrong people...). Every 4 to 5 matches we lose one because of some stupid misunderstanding on my side. They say "Ok, let's rush in" -> Everybody including me rushes in -> we lose. What did they me...

Is anyone out there with aspergers doing high rated arena? For me it's difficult to play with teamspeak or skype. I dont understand the underlying sounds. I dont know if someone yells for help when he says „I'm feared“ or just shares some information. I used to play without ts/skype in tbc but nearl...

You're a woman. Guys doing a striptease probably could be creepy or just plain ridiculous. But if you fall on your butt, just throw your head back and laugh. It will still be sexy. Crawl around, make eye contact, whip your hair a bit and you're good to go. Have some fun. i will make my man do strip...
