While I agree with is the OP is still entitled to discuss it and have an opinion. S My question is why does it concern you? Half the "speech" on the internet is derogatory, spiteful, or inane, my suggestion is just ignore it if you find it offensive. By passing it on you're only giving this person's... |

I'm an Aspie....my advice is take it easy with her and that her response may b a positive sign. You should educate yourself a bit more on AS if you want to be a part of this girls life.... Your story kind of reminds me of my own except the guy in your shoes has ADHD and I was definitely the girl in ... |

He needs to pull his head out of his arse and grow up!! He should be lucky that ANYONE is interested in him at all, whose to say that these so called "fat, weird and ugly" women aren't among some of the nicest people around?! Does he expect to attract model types or something?! There is usually a re... |

I know my situation much better than you do so please stop making generalised statements and judgements because they are very unhelpful to me at this point and it's no longer necessary or appropriate for anyone to be giving this type of advice. I have stated that I'm choosing to stay with my partner... |

He is a diagnosed Aspie as am I and in comparison to myself he is more sociable and extroverted naturally, he has his moments where he does need space and alone but I seem to need it a lot more than him and he always has to have a friend whereas I can survive a bit better in my own company, I like a... |

He and I will be discussing the option of living in separate accommodation while he gets the help he needs, not only will we both have the space and alone time to think about where this relationship is going, if it can go any further or if a platonic friendship is a better option but we will also ha... |

Again this thread is not about religion, hitting of any sort is wrong but I think enough judgement has been passed despite the fact I have said several times that my partner is getting help for this issue, it's getting to the point where I'm getting annoyed now and I'm considering asking Admin to lo... |

I don't know how this got onto religion but I'm guess it came from the suggestion made by another poster earlier?... I think that poster was suggesting that my partner adopts the better aspects of Christianity meaning the parts where they're meant to do good by their fellow human.. S.... The Islamic... |

Yes I can see that the hitting shouldn't have happened in the first place but I also know when to give credit when it's due, he has toned it down and he is getting help for it!! There is really nothing more to say about this subject... S.... to his credit he has slowed the hitting down a little seri... |

Osama Bin Laden believed in Allah which is the Islamic God, he was also an extremist fundamentalist and I would hardly compare him to someone with a small amount of faith in a higher being... S... We both know who you as well and your input is much appreciated!! You are correct when you say he isn't a bad person at all and you are also correct with the other points you've made. The hitting generally happens when he's lost a significant amount of control of his emotions and this is when he's r... |

I will look into those books, I need to buy a Kindle first though. At this point I'm happy to try anything that might help, I think he's already taken some positive steps by removing some of the negative people and influences from his life and making an effort to pay his debts and look for suitable ... |

I know you're not alone in your comments, I have given similar advice to people in the past only to find out that it's not as black and white that there was more to a situation than what I first thought. My partner also knows that he's skating on very thin ice and that I will eventually leave if thi... |
