I have never experienced jealousy, and in a way I'm in a similar situation to what you describe (but from the other side). In fact, I'd prefer it if my wife could find herself a lover or two so that I can have more time for myself and focus on my projects. She seems a bit reluctant, but on the other...

I really didn't think any of the dating sites were disturbing/strange. Besides, I find it pretty hot if a woman is taller than I am (I'm 6'2).

Heavyweight. Not a binge drinker really, although I have a pretty high tolerance these days. A bottle of wine and a few shots most nights. I'd probably top out at 2.5-3 bottles of wine, although haven't gone there for a while so not sure.

Welcome to WP spaghedeity :-) I'm new here myself, but I have seen a lot of people with similar issues on the site, so you are not alone. I recognize much of what you write: I know that I'm very gifted in many areas, and it has helped me hide some of the problems that I have, particularly in relatio...

I just think about it as neurodiversity. Everybody is different with different traits and personalities. Everybody was raised differently and has gone through different things in life. People also have different mental disorders. I also think a lot of people who have the INTJ personality could easi...

Well, ran out of Kahlua, so straight-up vodka now. I probably shouldn't drink more, but that buzz is just so sweet.... makes the mind go quiet. And I'll be able to fall asleep tonight, always a bonus.

I just can't think if I'm also looking someone in the eyes. Brain freeze, mind goes blank. I think what happens is that it's too much information to process, so my brain re-allocates computing power to process the incoming information at the expense of other activities (such as actually using my bra...

god, yes. I have been in phases of my life where I very literally spend every moment in public embarrassed about something or another that I've done - even when I 'know' that most of it just passed everyone else by without a second thought. To be honest, the best times in my life were with academic...

Personally, what helped me out when I was in the pit, was the knowledge that this mind that we have is a one-time deal. Once it's over, it's over, and that's it. Which means that there's no rush to end it, because we'll get there soon enough anyway.

So I sat it through. And it got better.

Yes, but I've stopped worrying about it. I have face blindness and can remember very few faces, so on countless occasions I've introduced myself to people I already know. But people around me know about it, so they usually tell me in advance who is approaching so that I can recognize the person. I h...

Well, returning to the topic, I agree with the OP. After years of trying to fit in to NT normative monogamy, I gave up on traditional relationships and embraced relationship anarchy. I simply stopped putting labels on my relationships. I make no separation between "girlfriend"and "friend", and I don...

Ah, love scotch, particularly islay! Favorite right now is Ardbeg Uigeadail.
