Hi Tori! Welcome to Wrong Planet! You are among friends here! Check out the forums. They are interesting and helpful. No two Autism/Asperger's cases are exactly alike. Each one must be taken on it's own merits. There are a number of symptoms common to the spectrum. It is not necessary to have all t...

Less than 10 years ago I came across info on Asperger's Sydrome, and it was like fire works going off in my brain, because most of w...

hi Kazz, welcome to WP :) I was self diagnosed with AS yesterday, and part of my realization had to do with work that day. I've always felt like I never fit in and that others tended to mock me behind my back or even to my face (sometimes subtle, sometimes not so much) that day was especially bad, ...

I don't have faceblindness. I only have difficulties spotting people because I don't look at people - I look down or away from anyone's faces (unless I know them). Face blindness means you just can't remember names with faces very well. It's embarassing.

Does anybody else feel as if they don't have a personality? I could never relate to what people meant by 'personality' - I could never relate to this concept. It's as if my sense of personality or identity had never developed, and I mean this literally. that's how i frequently feel, like i dont kno...
