| Don't worry, if the woman cares about you she'll be patient. Someone you're friends with first or that you've been seeig for a while, so that some trust builds up, might be best as she's more likely to be patient and kind. You've nothing to lose anyway! | Well, both frieds are very stubborn. One thinks I'm a classic victim of abuse who justifies everythig the man does and other thinks I'm infatuated and couldn't possible LIKE his personality. | Thanks, we actually sorted it out some weeks back and we haven't had any problems since. I've learned to allow him to follow his ow routie in the daytime and he ahs no problem with me being around as he's gotten over any physical hang-ups! So we've adaped to each other. | And I just want to add that I wouldn't even call him an aspie now. Now that I know him intimately I've stopped labelling him that way or thinking of him as 'different'. |

| That can't be easy for your sister and her boyfriend. I don't think my friends are jealous, per se - I think one is prejudiced because she doesn't understand his personality, and the other, who likes him otherwise, is frightened he's abusive though there isn't much evidence of that. |

| Thanks! He's really not the villian he sounded like when I was upset. He's not perfect either, but who is? It's just when you show people who car eabout you how upset you are it leaves a permanent effect, a prejudice against the one 'responsible'. Hopefully time will tell. |

| When he was a child. I don't think he's abusive though, I think he has issues dealing with emotions but he's fine 98 per cent of the time.
