You guys really don't like having breasts? Wow I guess I'm the odd one, I like being female and sometimes.. I wish they were bigger. That's the only thing I don't like about them. You're not the only odd one, then. I like having breasts too. In fact, it blows my mind how a woman wouldn't like havin... |

I think there are various things that men on the autistic spectrum may sometimes be more likely to offer. 1) Fidelity. Maxine Aston claims in one of her books that 80% of the wives she counsels are 100% convinced of their husbands' fidelity. Also, I believe that many men on the autistic spectrum si... |

However, it does boil down to expectations. One person's "emotional support" is another person's "smothering". What works for you might not work for another person of the same gender. I've known (and am related to) a number of people, male and female , who were incredibly difficult to get along wit... |

I don't know where you came to the conclusion that relationships involving AS men tend to be as dysfunctional as you described. Personal experience, coupled with similar experiences of other women. Seriously, look around these boards. How many guys do you see whining that they're tired of being alo... |

Because a woman already has a p****, and isn't looking for another one? Yes, one can force a round peg into a square hole, but really how comfortable is that? When it comes to romantic relationships, when you act like a man, she is freed to be able to act like a woman, and everyone is a lot more co... |

If a woman has to look like a supermodel in order for you to find her attractive, being alone is the least of your problems. |

No me. I prefer women that are intelligent, knowledgeable, and who can reason for themselves. An AS man will typically say this... but for most of them, it lasts only until the woman he's romantically involved with has the nerve to disagree with him. When trying to argue her down doesn't work, he b... |

1) Everyone in a romantic relationship has a right to expect connection, emotional support, and respect from their partner.
2) People who can't (or more to the point, won't) treat their partner as above deserve a life of loneliness and misery, and I have absolutely no sympathy for them. |

It sounds to me that you two simply aren't compatible. It sucks, but it happens. *shrugs*
To be frank, I've always considered "compromise" in relationships, as it is commonly done, to be a shorthand way of saying, "Each partner is bored, angry, and frustrated precisely 50% of the time." lol |

On the subject of aspie dads, mine was Ok, just distant not much emotional content there. Encouraged study and the idea that women could work in non tradition fields. The problem parent was my mother who I would posthumously dx as a sociopath - she had a huge ego that demanded everyone else be pers... |

My social expression seems to naturally cleave to extremes. In public, I am very gregarious and sociable. I have no comprehension of social phobia, let alone an experience of it. It's not like the overwhelming majority of people are even classifiably sentient, so who cares what they "think"? (Emotio... |

Set a deadline several months from now for him to move out, and tell him about it. He'll probably be very anxious in response, so tell him that you're going to do everything you can to make sure he's ready. Try your best to teach him useful life skills (how to drive, how to do laundry, the social ex... |
