I've done that, and also put an ad at http://www.aspiefriends. However, I (and obviously others) feel that it's best to "leave no stone unturned", so wht not also post in the appropriate WrongPlanet forums?

Actually, that's one of the reasons I've been thinking about going back to college. Other than in a forum such as this, where better to meet a large cross-section of people, some of whom might be Aspies, and hopefully one of whom might be a potential friend.

I work from home as a freelance editor for a publisher of primarily academic journals and books. It's quite restful, particularly since I don't have to deal with NTs on a regular basis.
