I've started seeing a guy I met on the net. We're getting along fine. He's not diagnosed but we both think he's on the spectrum somewhere. I am diagnosed as Aspie. He's so timed & shy but my mum wants to meet & know him. My mum's come out to the car to say 'hi' but he just retreated & mu...

I can't say 100% as I'm not part of the relationship. But even if she was being careful & trying to protect herself from getting hurt I think she'd want to cuddle someone & even mention sex before 1-2 years of dating. I see it more as a friendship then girlfriend/boyfriend type of relationsh...

My words were that I care for him more than a friend & feel very close to him. In the past as we live far apart I've mentioned that I'd like it in the future if we could live nearer & see what happens or develops & he's liked the idea. I know last year he told me he liked me but then I g...

I don't really talk or post on here often but thought I'd ask fellow Aspies for advice. I've been friends with a fellow aspie for about 6 years. We've gotten really close & he tells me quite personal things which I didn't mind & like that he trust me. But recently he dropped the bomb shell t...

This is exactly how I feel. I'm totally on my own which sometimes is fine but then I go out and see people chatting and doing things together and I wish I had someone I could talk to and share my life with. I've sadly still not found the answer as I'm in a vicious circle with depression where I feel...

Like accountinglad said. Try going out as a group. Or suggest there's a movie you'd like to see and see if she picks up on that and comments on wanting to see it. If she's interested in the same movie just ask her if she fancies going to see it with you so neither of you have to go on your own.

I find that I'm also like this too. So this many people agreeing with you I'm guessing it is part of autism. I think I find I get like this as I have no friends so it's a kind of excitement that someone actually wants to talk to me and I get carried away. Also I think it's because I don't know the p...

I'm fed up of being called for one. It's either not enough cells for a result or the machines aren't working. I really hate them as I find them so painful. It's great yours went so well. Just for future thought if you do find them painful like me. I've found the metal speculum is better than plastic...

Not to scare you or anything but even if he didn't finish inside you, you can still get pregnant because sperm does leak out before then. But if you was using protection and it didn't split then there's a good chance you're not pregnant. If you're not pregnant can you start walking instead of relyin...

I just thought I'd update to say that my doctor refered me to the family planning clinic to see if they could help. They were going to refer me to the hospital to have cameras and everything which I told them I couldn't cope with as a few mintues is torture never mind more. As they do this all the t...

Thank you everyone for getting back to me. It's made me feel less alone with this. I've booked to see my doctor tomorrow to see what she says and what she suggests. If I can build myself up to have it, this will be the 4/5th person to do this and hopefully they might have a better knack to doing the...

Hi, I've been due a smear/pap test for over a 6 months now. I've had 4 in my life and 3 have come back with not enough cells. 1 came back with abnormal cells. Because of this I'm panicking but the last test I had they didn't get enough results. I don't mind the test and am quite willing to get over ...
