I mimick animal sounds on a near-daily basis. Mostly, it's just grunts, growls, and murrs, but I often do other animal sounds as well (mainly cat, but still...) whenever I think they're necessary.

As much as I would like to limit how much we spend at areas shopping, we really can't because we're often getting what is necessary (food, water, dinner, (dare I say it...) Dad's beer). In an ironic twist, I also do like to shop sometimes (especially for games, music, and videos). I'd rather not spe...

Hello, again. I've been having a lot of Sensory Overload issues as of late, and I was wondering if there's any advice about how to avoid it from happening so much. It usually happens when I am out shopping with my mother. Especially at WalMart and other places with a ton of bright lights and sound. ...

Sometimes I do. It kind of depends if it's a deja-vu type of dream or not, usually. In the majority of the deja-vu ones I don't make any eye contact, but in normal dreams, I often do make eye contact.

Okay, so a couple of days ago, while I was lounging around the trailer I reside in, someone knocked on the door. My father, who was sleeping on the couch at that time, told me to "get him a gun". Needless to say, I did that literally, then went to answer the door. Afterward, I was told that he reall...

I see.
I quickly edited the OP, just so I am a little more specific on what types of theories I am looking at and for future references.

I understand that fairly well.
Yet suppose someone tries to pull the old "it's caused by X" routine, is there any way someone can tell if the supposed cause theory has been proven or disproven?

Hello, again. I was wondering if anyone can tell me which theories of causes have been proven to be true? Or those that have been proven false/fraudulent? I kind of need a list of those with the reasons why they were proven/disproven because I'm currently working on a community project within my tow...

I see. I am usually able to make it through the first two classes of mine (Music Appreciation and Web Design) without any trouble, but once it gets to third hour (Advanced Math) and onwards, I start nodding off in class (tried to fidget, walk around, and other things to fight off sleep without spook...

@Saxgrrrl: I've mostly tried doing that, but, with the tons of stuff changing where I am at and my grandmother re-building the house I stay in (added with the almost constant family-drama in that household), I rarely can get a wink of sleep anymore. It's usually because there's a huge amount of nois...

on how to keep awake during school. My superintendent recently banned bringing any outside food or drinks, including coffee, (with the minor exceptions of birthdays and stuff like that) to class and making it mandatory to get them from the vending machines. I don't do any sodas, so my choices there ...

I was wondering about what Music Therapy does and how it can affect those who are Aspies. I ask this because I'm currently working on an FCCLA project, a Teach & Train to be exact, involving teaching about the ocarina. I originally was going to do research on teaching other Aspies, but a couple ...
