Make sure that you are alone with her when you ask her these things. I know that when there is more than just the person I actually want to talk to around, I can't talk about things. If I'm alone with the person I want to talk to, I'm more apt to open up - but only if I trust that person is not goin... |

When I've eaten something that makes my health out of whack - yes, I feel this way. When I'm tired because I've spent too much time on special interests - yes, I feel this way. When I've avoided things I put on my "To Do" list - yes, I feel this way. When I try to be social and I'm misunderstood - y... |

Would some of you say that you really only want to reach out and be social when you feel like it and don't mind being alone when you don't feel like being social? I find myself going through that a lot. However, email or forum contact is nice because I can take it when I want it, and leave it when I... |

Actually, Werbs made me giggle even though he's probably making fun of me. :P Thanks to those of you who reached out. I've been working this week to try to find something to do in the 2 o'clock hour to keep me as focused as possible instead of relying on others to "entertain me". I cringe at the tho... |

Thanks. I guess I must be considered the office snob because when I'm at work, I really only like to talk about work unless I'm emailing someone outside of work. So I attempted to talk to two of my co-workers about something I'm working on, and in turn asking what they are working on, since we're in... |

Every morning I have contact with my email buddies. Keeps me cheered up for the morning. I write them back, and hope that they write back to me too. Lately though, it seems like I get lonely in the afternoons. Since I'm on Pacific Coast Time, and they'd be getting off work about the same time I'm fe... |

The next girl that tells you this - you need to ask them why. Tell them you want an honest answer. If you never get any feedback you can use then you will never learn what it is you're doing that makes you in the "friends" category rather than in the "marriage" category. |

The likes list: 1) He has to be a gentleman and use proper manners. This is extremely important to me. I once read that a person who is nice to you but not nice to the waiter, is not a nice person. Opens doors, lets me loop my arm through his, walks slower because I'm short, tries to stifle gas, bat... |

NTs can give off and understand an array of feelings non-verbally while they are saying others verbally. I say a lot of stuff and give off a lot of emotion non-verbally, but I can't read what others are saying between the lines or giving off emotionally when they are talking to me specifically. I d... |

I have AS. My 12 year old daughter has it. My 3 year old son does not. There are days when my son's behavior is overwhelming. There are days when my daughter pulls me through and days when I pull her through. I dread the days when she and I are both down because we end up crying and being mad at eac... |

What others have said: 1) They have a hard time reading my mood until they get a few sentences in with me 2) I understand logic and put it to use for the advantage of myself and others around me that would benefit 3) I understand them on a deep level and when they ask for advice, they often take it ... |

I am aware this happens, but only because people close to me have told me that people stare at me. I don't pay attention if others are staring at me because I'm focused on what I'm doing. There are times I do notice, but quickly look away and get back to task. One time, I tried to very politely ask ... |

If you really cared for the emotions of the first girl, you wouldn't have put yourself in a position to be physical with the second girl. True? At least that's the way I think it's supposed to work. |

*raises hand* I've met 9 people that I've talked to online and hadn't met previously. The first time being in February of this year. I met a group of three then. The second time being in August of this year. I took my daughter and we met a group of six others then. Each time I've approached with cau... |
