I think the difference is that denial stems from fear of what's actually true, whereas Hope stems from not being afraid because you can depend on something(i.e., If I said "I don't sin" I'm in denial, but I say "Jesus has forgiven my sins" therefore I have hope, yet I do not deny that I sin). When I listen to music I like to close my eyes(though often times, I can't because I'm driving, working, etc.) and make a movie in my mind. Every song becomes a story. I agree with the above, and I'm sure we'll all agree and understand the AS tendancy to consider different things as more important than other people consider them. So we deffinetely understand taht a change in routine can be quite upsetting and in a way is therefore also a big deal.
