(the title is NOT a euphemism for anything) So, where to begin? Met this guy through my local fellowship, really cute, a few years older, he is sweet and strange like me :) I thought things were going well and quite flirtatiously then his tune changed. I found out his father passed away in the past ...

In the south of the US Like OK and below, I am think at times this may be code for "you're an idiot." or an attempt to trivialize a person like a child. With a positive spin, it may indicate a maternal affection (eg: like a waitress calling you hun). However this is really dependent on the person sa...

Blimey. No wonder so many of you struggle with love and dating if you aren't thrilled by the intensity of eye contact with someone you like. Labeling people that way "so many of you" tends to "otherize" and turn people away. Let's try to avoid that. We can discuss our lives and experiences without ...

His eyes are the most intense thing I have encountered in years, makes me want to im/explode just thinking about it! Good conversations, but I have to sit off to the side when I am aro...

Man, went through a similar thing in college, totally crushed on this guy friend, it made me so happy to be around him and in all fairness he did "lead me on". After three years of fawning over him I eventually realized he was just not into me. Slowly I realized the ONLY way I was going to move on w...

People call me BB, a trend that began on the soccer field as it was much more convenient than yelling my full name. 27, 5'10 athletic build, red hair and deep blue eye. I love to play soccer, ultimate frisbee is also fun. I am from the US but I live in China (if you can't tell from the username) and...

Anyone else have this problem? I am 27...never been in a romantic relationship. I would like to be in a relationship someday (soon preferably). It seems like anytime I get a crush on a guy "my head asplodes" when I look him in the eye or have any sort of physical contact. Normally I am just uncomfor...

I tried both site for three days, with a VPN and without a VPN, and I keep getting the same error message. I am in China, but I don't think that would make a difference (especially with a VPN)...

Elo, I am somewhat new to this I suppose. I have always been drawn to other cultures...trying to figure out how I fit into the world, never quite feeling like I belonged anywhere. At least when I am in another country and feeling out of place there is an obvious REASON for my alienness. I have a kna...
