No, it sounds like you'll like it. There are tons of areas in the game, and each one is huge, but not at all daunting, and each place has various secrets to discover. Think of that gran pulse meadow area in ff13, but xenoblade has like 20 areas of that size. But if you don't like to miss any quests ...

Xenoblade can be just as overwhelming. You'll be doing so much bactracking. It's worth playing though, as it's the most modern jrpg released this gen, along with the atelier games on the ps3.

Plus, a year from now you can sell it on eBay for $200.

Luckilly the only game I regreted buying was a used copy of Dead Island, so I was able to return it the next day. As soon as the horrible song started playing after I put in the disc (WHO DO YOU VOODOO B****???), I knew I wasn't in the dudebro demographic for that game. Played it for a few hours, bu...

I'm playing Xenoblade right now. I was really into it for the first 80 hours or so, but it gets very tedious after a while. The quest system is the worst I've seen in a game in a while. There are no quest markers, and so many quests require you to farm items from enemies that are half your level or ...

thanks for the compliment :) Well, I can't notice flirting and I don't know how to do it, so when both men & women suddenly say they're interested it comes as a surprise.... Well I don't know if I'm a good example, as I just found dates through the internet. I like knowing what I'm getting into,...

It's great that you share an interest already. Here's the thing though... The sweet little things new couples say to each other might be what makes him uncomfortable. In my case, it almost made me feel physically ill during a new relationship. I can feel the same exact way, but hearing it said out l...

Find out what his interests are and make an effort to talk about that. Maybe just stop texting alltogether, and just talk to him in person since that's when he seems to be most at ease with you. I would be uncomfortable in his position too, but it's no fault of your own. He sounds like an aspie, so ...

I'm a nord focusing on archery, one-handed, sneak/thief skills, and crafting/alchemy.... I always play these types of games as a bow-wielding rogue.

I was a vampire dunmer in Oblivion. Perfect race to use if you want to be a vampire, due to the natural fire immunity. Try that maybe?

This is now a Ron Paul thread. http://www.ronpaul.com/images/ron-paul-dont-steal-government-hates-competition.jpg Every conversation on the internet eventually includes Ron Paul... I'm no fan of his, but he's a fascinating person. I'm a bit of a politics buff, and watching him change the course of ...

Ron has had plenty of opportunities to sell out for 'mainstream' recognition. He could of had a speaking spot at the RNC in 2008 if he endorsed John McCain but he didn't. How would he be advancing his cause when Romney runs contrary to it? I think your reasoning is solid and I wish Romney was anti-...

I disagree that RP wouldn't accept. He's spent decades running as a protest candidate, so I think he would welcome the opportunity to advance his causes through a Romney/Paul ticket. Dennis Kuchinich and Ron Paul agree on very little too, but RP still said he would've considered Kuchinich as a runni...

This is interesting... I never thought about whether I react to sight or sound more in a game. I do tend to tweak the sound settings in my games though, because I don't like loud obnoxious sound effects. I spend about 80% of my game time playing rpgs, most of which are western. I always choose a rog...

If we're talking about what's best for Tamriel and not just which side suits our sensiblities, I would still say siding with the Empire would be my choice. A divided Tamriel would be easy pickings for the Altmer. The Empire isn't a utopian force for good, but it still has fostered racial harmony, se...

At first I thought I would join the Stormcloaks because I really like everything about the Nords, but the more I played the more I did not like them. The racism was the major drawback for me, so I fought for the Empire. Since my guy was a Nord, it made for a very interesting storyline.

Damn... I pride myself on playing a lot of obscure and indie games, but if you want a list of just 3, I'm going to have to go mainstream... Batman Arkham City Dragon Age: Origins SKYRIM Seriously, no one said Skyrim? Is it hip to not like that game now or something? :P I'd throw in Bayonetta, but t...
