Incense is awesome. I'd burn it if I could. I like scented candles too, though certain varieties make me feel nauseous - specifically the pine tree-scented candles that come out during the Christmas season. Real pine trees don't make me nauseous though. I think it's a matter of quality and whether ...

I'm still friends with my two main friends from middle and high school, and they're probably the only people I can be myself around. Also, when I get together when them I don't have to strain myself to keep the conversation going, which is usually the case with other people. I don't do all that much...

Are Aspies ever prescribed amphetamine for any reason? This includes Adderall, Dexedrine, etc. Years back I took that stuff as a study aid, but it always made me feel terrible.

I'm a new Aspie and I have a few questions about some of my behavior. I have already tried to find answers in a few books and I searched the internet, but wasn't satisfied with what I found. Now I turn to the forum! When my family first mentioned that I might have Asperger's, one of the many things ...

Over the last year or so, I've become a huge fan of Greek, Serbian, and Russian Orthodox music. Regarding particular artists, I could recommend Divna Ljubojevic (Serbia) and Nektaria Karantzi (Greece). However, I'm still pretty new to the genre. I'm under the impression that a lot of this music is m...

First of all, I would just like to ask if anyone knows of any good literature on Asperger's and its implications for second-language acquisition. I have found a few shoddy articles for teachers, but that's about it. I am especially curious about second-language listening. I am both an Aspie and a fa...
