Hmm, yeah, I am worried about the whole 'mood swings' possibility, given the fact that my mood is unstable at the best of times. |

There's nothing wrong with being dominant. And some people look for a partner who is more dominant than they are. But I wouldn't say that a relationship should be 'unequal'. I've been more dominant in personality than a partner, and also the opposite way round, but I'd still say we had an equal rela... |

Just to update on this... We had a discussion about it, and it may or may not be going ahead, we're still both weighing it up... but it was good to have a full and frank talk and air all of our concerns. I talked him through my pros and cons list and he did the same. And we talked about things like ... |

Just going to point out that this isn't just a female thing. Men do this too. You may be coming at this from a male perspective, but it isn't like we're a completely different species bent on tricking and duping all of the men. That said, I agree with the previous posters; if somebody gives you a fa... |

Cheating is not necessarily sleeping with people other than your partner (or kissing or flirting or whatever you deem an unfaithful act to be). Cheating is doing those things without your partner's consent , however far into a relationship you may be. Translation: Cheating is when you do anything w... |

It isn't "cheating" unless you're married; thus, my answer is "No". What. No. Marriage is not the ultimate commitment, nor the only sign of monogamy. You can have people in open marriages and you can have people who are dating only each other. It depends on what the people in question negotiate as ... |

Also would like to point out that often they wouldn't consider themselves to be "a woman who used to be a man" (or vice versa) but that they've always been a woman and just happened to have the wrong body. |

I do leave stuff at his house, but it's not a deliberate thing. Just as, right now, I'm typing this message at my house with one of his shirts slung over the back of my chair and at least four pairs of his underwear in my laundry bag. |

ladystardust, you shouldn't be making such a pivotal decision based on not wanting to sleep alone. At least not exclusively based on that. Make a list of the pros and cons. That helps. I did that, when I wanted to make a decision on whether it was worth being with someone, or not. The list can alwa... |

So he just texted me saying that since we both have uni work to do, it's probably best that we spend the night apart to study in the morning. Which is sensible but.... argh, the thought of a night alone is making me feel so sad and stressed. I like being alone, but it seems I can't sleep alone, and ... |

I think the fact is now that I don't really mind the outcome as long as we actually have that discussion. If he said to me that he trusts our relationship will work, that we love each other, that we're strong as a couple but that living together at this point would be too soon and neither of us are ... |

Yeah, if we were seriously considering it, I would definitely make sure we talked it through and that we'd thought of all potential issues beforehand. I hadn't thought of suggesting he read some literature on Aspie relationships... I might talk to him about it rather than just presenting him with a ... |

ladystardust is your bf NT? Does he know you are an Aspie and what that entails? He is NT, at least as far as I can tell, but does have some similar traits to me. He knows I'm an Aspie but doesn't really discuss it much. We haven't really talked about any issues this might throw up, although I do t... |

My friend has had the implant for years and she is very happy with it. I have the contraceptive injection because I didn't like the idea of having the implant thing under my skin where I could feel it. I don't have periods on the injection and I haven't gained weight on it either, so I am happy. Th... |

ladystardust, it feels like you are a younger version of me :) I can identify with everything you are saying. I have the experience of my past (where it all happened) and the present situation I am in (I will further explain later). I have to first and foremost say, that obviously every situation i... |
