The thing is, though, that many for-profit corporations do not pay dividends. Granted, that's by their own choice, but as such, the line between them and charities is pretty blurred. Yes, a church cannot accumulate money without spending it, but that's not much of a distinction. I don't know the pa... |

The deep web is everything not easily searchable. A website like this is fully indexed by Google, but many similar forums are not. Or if you were to save an archive of this forum and put it on a file sharing site, that wouldn't be searchable. Or say you have a private Facebook page, or keep your fam... |

Let's remember, folks, businesses aren't taxed on their revenues, their taxed on their profits. Churches, like many other not-for-profit corporations and organizations aren't created for the purpose of earning profits and are permitted to retain their surplusses without tax, provided that: 1) the s... |

Was watching the new TV show Hannibal, and the character Miriam looked familiar to me. Wasn't until about 40 minutes in when I realized it was Anna Chlumsky a.k.a. Veda Sultenfuss from the My Girl movies. Made me smile. http://cdn-premiere.ladmedia.fr/var/premiere/storage/images/series/news-series/h... |

Legalize public intoxication, getting high in public and having sex in public? Hehe I favor legalization of drug possession, but we don't really want people intoxicated or hallucinating in public places, might lead to some unfortunate accidents. But possession doesn't hurt anyone, and the drug war ... |

No, that's a very low bar to pass. Getting twelve people to agree on something is not that difficult - it happens all the time - else jury trials would be ending in hung juries instead of verdicts most of the time. The notion that twelve people should be able to override a law passed democratically... |

Very pretty young lady. I don't mean this in a bad way but you almost doen't look real. Like a porcelain doll or an anime character. Good call. This seems to be a photo of Korean actress/model Jee-Inn Kim, though I don't speak the language. [img][300:389]http://pic.prepics-cdn.com/ulzzanglover3/196... |

If you have friends who are pedophiles, then you might want to reconsider who you associate yourself with. I'm a pedophile. I didn't ask to be one, it's just my sexual orientation. It's not something I would choose or think of acting upon. If you think you know me because of that then I feel sorry ... |

If I ever went to trial I believe I would opt for a judge ruling rather than a jury. I don't think my "peers" can relate to me very well, and at least a judge might try to see things objectively. Regular people are dangerous to someone as strange as myself. The problem in the United States, in my op... |

Government gets to decide what's in the nation's best interests. People getting injured on the job is a significant drain on economic productivity, and incurs significant cost and pressure on health care services. Addressing preventable injuries is a significant way in which government can address ... |

All convicted paedophiles should be forced to donate both corneas, a kidney and a lung to those in need. Those convicted of possessing child pornography should donate six square inches of skin (for each image found) to burns victims. Possessing child pornography doesn't hurt anyone, it should be le... |

Look at your first statement, and in particular, "protect the careless." Everyone , regardless of skill and experience, is careless from time to time. Laws that mitigate risk in the event of carelessness are potentially valuable, and their value should be weighed against the likelihood of risk, and... |

Sorry, I'm not discussing this saw thing. Either you get it or you don't. If you don't get it, I'm not going to bother. Not understanding your point and disagreeing with your point are two different things. You brought it up but now you can't defend it. Don't make it seem like I am the reason your ... |

Oh I almost forgot the misinterpretation combined with lack of brightness! 3000 amputations a year is indeed a low number compared to the american population, but it's certainly not an insignificant number compared to the number of people who work with these saws. Say you've been doing this work fo... |
