SpiritBlooms , I don't think my boss knows how bad he is, as it's a while since I last talked to him about this guy (at that point, he'd only been sort of rude to me and some customers, and he actually said that he'd talk to him about it, but then he also said that he'd never heard any complaints b... |

AND I'm afraid of winding up alone, because I'm heavy, not beautiful and "blessed" with aspie oddities. Why? Please don't feel like that. A lot of us guys like heavier ladies, you know. :) A couple of weeks ago, a middle-aged man I know started a discussion with a woman we both know, with me ... |

redrobin62, I guess the "blessing" was an attempt on irony. I'm thinking of the things that make me unfit as a partner - hypersensitivity, need of space and time alone, the automatic cringing following a light touch from a well-meaning acquaintance. But there are several things I find positiv... |

I really like most of my coworkers, and I think they like me too - I say funny things (because I see connections where they don't), I'm polite and I'm cheerful (not too happy, but they can't tell the difference). But there's one guy that's been annoying me ever since he got the job. He's impolite to... |

Now what I don't like is strangers calling me honey and sweetie and the like. When I'm at work somtimes a customer will call me honey. I HATE that! Only if it's a guy though. Women say stuff like that all the time and I don't think twice. But don't let a guy call me honey or sweetie. That makes me ... |

As a kid, I used to hate my arm hair, because the other kids commented on it from time to time. The hairs are pale, and I learned to accept them - I don't like them, but they're there. My eyebrows, however, are plucked every other day - my hair is light blonde, but my eyebrows are dark brown, and mo... |

I come from a family where we rarely show emotions (last year, my grandmother got me really upset by being very cold on the phone, and since I was then both struggling with the loss of my dear dog and beginning to accept AS as a part of me (albeit without a diagnosis), I broke down completely. My mo... |

Thanks a lot, guys! I really look forward to getting to know new people here :-) ... you can check out the firsts posts on my blog if your interested in reading some thoughts about getting a" late" diagnosis etc. I just read through several of your blog posts - it's somewhat absurd to communicate in... |

Hello, everybody! Let me introduce myself: I'm LemonTree, a twenty-something woman (or girl? Technically, of course, I'm a woman, but I don't feel grown-up enough to let the girl-tag go...) from Norway - that cold and beautiful country that protects Sweden from the cold winds of the Norwegian Sea. I... |
