Wow, it's pretty obvious that what tv likes to portray has had a lot of influence on many. I actually was in a relationship with a man who had a daughter from a previous marriage, and a psycho ex. Was I expected to be a mother right off the bat? No. Did I avoid him because of his psycho ex? No. I ac... |

I'm a strong believer that out of 7 billion people on this planet, there's going to be at least one that wants what you have to offer. 7 billion. |

Actually being a single mother with a kid is only a turn off when you're in your 20s. Once you hit your 30s most people are divorced and have kids, and as you get older the number of people who don't have kids actually starts to dwindle dramatically. Usually if a guy is actively dating in his 30s or... |

A very nice way of putting it. I need to remind myself of it when things don't pan out. I'm an optimist with that kind of stuff, maybe almost utopian. I am trying to reach out to my close friends who are NTs and asking them for help on deciphering things I don't understand. They keep it real and als... |

Lol you guys are funny. Yes that is me in my avatar. Thank you for your responses I appreciate them. Speaking of guys getting bullied. Women actually do get bullied more because not only do we have to deal with male bullies but also females. Women just tend to ignore guys they don't like. And girls ... |

From a female Aspie perspective who is now a single mother. I didn't intend to get pregnant but it happened and my ovaries wanted babies. It is HARD work. Extremely challenging but with immense growth potential. It's extremely draining especially when she has meltdowns. She is one of the reasons I s... |

Umm I've turned down quite a few offers of marriage from NTs and been in quite a few long term relationships. The worst relationship I had was actually with a male aspie. Talk about pushing each other's buttons. I adapted much more to the NT world than he did, so there were a lot of things he didn't... |

So even though I signed up a few years back, I've never actually posted anything on here before. I'm a diagnosed female Aspie. Was in a 6 year relationship with a male Aspie, and actually it was that relationship which made me realise I displayed 90% of female Aspie traits, managed to have an NT chi... |

Thank you for your replies. I read the help4aspergers PDF about female traits and found I fit 3/4 of them. I am also reading aspergirls and on every page I can relate. So I'm pretty sure now that I have some degree of it. I score 29 on the basic test you can find anywhere on the web that also lists ... |

I am 30 and haven't lived with my parents for 3 years. I lived with them until I was 24 and moved to Florida, then moved back in with them when I came back, 26.Moved out when my brother was moving back in temporarily while setting up his business, because him and I just don't get along in closed spa... |

Hi, I've decided to come here to kinda find other women who have gone through what I have. I haven't been diagnosed with asperger's but I have a strong suspicion that I have it. A little background to what led me to come here: I'm in a long term committed relationship with a man who has AS. It's bee... |
