I hope it goes well ! |

Thank you to all those who participated in my study! The analysis showed a significant correlation between detail-oriented visual processing preferences and the expression of character traits and behaviour typically associated with autism spectrum disorders (p = .003, N = 87 for the Embedded Figures... |

I got two results from taking it once, so apparently I'm a logical-mathematical-naturalist thinker. |

I started my transition before I was diagnosed with AS but it took me quite a while and two psychological evaluations to get testosterone. It really helps if you look at older photographs of yourself. Maybe you can identify situations or behaviours that have always been there. After my coming out my... |

For me, the getting stuck is usually for set phrases like greetings, saying thank you, replying to meaningless social scripts, etc.; when I'm asked "how are you?" I reply "fine". Which is then followed by an awkward silence. Someone once told me that the correct reply would be "how are you?" but tha... |

That is why my hypothesis isn't based on whether the person is defined as being on the autism spectrum or not but on the extent of their displaying behaviour and characteristic typical for those on the autism spectrum. You don't need to be diagnosed with anything to participate and it is a correlati... |

No, they will not be affected by this because the demographic data is just to get an impression of the sample population. The statistical analysis will be performed from the questionnaire results and the test results. My hypothesis is not based on gender/age/diagnoses/nationality, etc. Just for the ... |

OJani: Yes I noticed, and I'm sorry for that. Somehow my instructions to update the diagnoses question didn't fully go through. If I update it again I'd have to clear my collected data again which could corrupt the analysis later on if I have to puzzle everything together from multiple data sets. I'... |

Thank you
I have to report my results on April, 25th and hand in my thesis on May, 3rd so I think I'll start the statistical analysis in about four weeks. |

I thought about the idea and my boyfriend surprisingly was quite interested. I don't know what to do with a woman in bed, really, so it would be with another guy; phenologically, a MMF, because I am androgynous/ftm-transsexual/somewhere stuck in the middle. Which adds the issue that I have to trust ... |

I never understood why there are (still) differences in what the sexual roles of males and females are supposed to be. It does have some use when there is no contraception/STI protection - like the "no sex before marriage" thing, so the resulting children are cared for and diseases are contained - b... |

I have a boyfriend, so, yes - not counting that it's a long distance relationship and we see each other once every four to six weeks. I suppose it's still "active" since they are forced celibate intervals. But considering what an "active sex life" seems to mean for the neurotypical gay community, I'... |

My aspie results went up, too, from 120 to 131. Neurotypical went down from 84 to 79. I know what you mean with the opposite emotion. I looked at the picture and thought "okay, that one looks happy" and then the selection was something like "nervous", "annoyed" and "evil". Okay, maybe not happy... I... |

Three pages of questionnaires - hence the 20/10 pounds/dollars/euros voucher raffle at the end. I haven't tried it with firefox personally but I know from a friend who tested it before I had it put online that it worked just fine if the java plugin is correctly enabled. I also tested it with chrome ... |

The reference number is stated directly above the box in which you are prompted to write it. Just below the reaction time result of the test. I can email the finished study and I suppose I could email the questionnaire result if I'm given the participant number of the Java-Reaction test. I am unable... |

I can understand your issues with the questions, however, I did not write them myself and I cannot change the wording without jeopardising the validity of the tests. I merely use them and reference the original sources (which I can cite here, if someone is interested) Thank you for your participatio... |
