We'll be parents in September and we both exhibit extremely obvious and numerous aspie traits. Any signs to watch for in our little buddy? Any other aspie parents have normal kids, or non-verbal offspring? We just don't know what to expect. Kind of a fun mystery, actually. Any help is appreciated. |

my cholesterol numbers didn't go down until I ditched most animal products. I'm sorry your cholesterol went down. Now you are more prone to alzheimer's, diabetes and a lot of other chronic ailments. I highly recommend eating more animal products to get your cholesterol back up into the safe range. ... |

Yes, Ancel keys cherry picked data to make it seem like fat had something to do with heart disease. But he was wrong. Saturated fat is lately proven time and time again to be healthy and protective. Doctors and surgeons are among the most indoctrinated with incorrect, outdated information. Look it u... |

My knees kick but I'm impervious to pressure points. I've stymied and disappointed many a karate kid who tried to impress me with pressure point knowledge. |

Cholesterol does not clog arteries. Higher cholesterol is actually associated with longer life and fewer chronic ailments. My HDL is around 90 and my LDL is up there, total cholesterol just above the sweet 240 to 260 range at about 275, but my trigs are so low I'm basically heart and liver disease-p... |

Dedicated carnivore here, grain free, poison free. I eat food because of it's health properties. Coming from poverty, like so many others, I can easily channel my inner hungry child and eat everything from beef liver to goat cheese, even though I don't like the flavor. (I don't eat dairy too much an... |

It's mostly how neurotypicals let other neurotypicals know they belong to the fitness subgroup. Fitness people are proud to know what they know and want to be seen as active, strong and informed people. If an NT sees another NT dressed like a diver riding a bicycle, the implication is that the perso... |

What was all that? OP is just asking about spidey sense. It was a "yes or no" not "does Jesus make cheese on Tuesday" question. And yes, I do get the random sense that things are wrong at times, like maybe somebody I've known has died somewhere or something. Usually it is meaningless, or I never fin... |

Has anybody already done the footwork on this? Is there any reliable data for or against the idea that ultrasounds can "cause" autism? |

Why is it inappropriate to correct a teacher? My teachers would get really annoyed with me when I pointed out an error, even if they corrected it later, but I've always thought it's better for someone to point it out than the whole class be taught something that wasn't correct. I think they thought... |

Yes, I scream in my mind as loud as I want, and spin, and smash imaginary giant arms down like a gorilla, etc. But my body generally still moves. |

People think I'm around 18 sometimes and I'm almost 31. When I look in the mirror, I'd say I look about 25 on average. But it's all so subjective. |

Well, I used to drink two pots - because three just seemed like too much! Then I managed to dial it back to a daily half-pot. But it's messing with my intraocular pressure, so I've got to quit. Green tea doesn't seem to do the same thing... |
