So I moved out. It was hard and the only reason I was able to do it was that my family came down for my birthday for a different reason- they bought me a car! I've been on my own simce I was 17 but without a car for the past 5 years so the family pitched in (grandparents, parents, brother, and siste... |

She says a glass of wine is supposed to help you digest your food but how can that be when alcohol irritates your stomach lining and can make you throw up? Alcohol actually stops the conversion of food into usable energy for your body, so you store it as fat while your liver works to metabolize the... |

Also, as for the "sexy" eye contact, I read recently that people often do an eye "pop" when they are attracted to someone. They very quickly (fraction of a second) raise their eyelids, exposing more of the eye, just slightly--showing excitement, after catching a glance (actually, I'm not sure when ... |

It would be a video of two people sitting about 30 inches apart, and staring at the floor or ceiling for about 15 minutes :D Seriously, I have no idea.. Charles Hey, it's a porno. The following conversation is needed for that extra bit of romantic atmosphere: "Do you feel like initiating coitus wit... |

I know you say something physical is not an option, and I don't know what your circumstances are, but even if you have limits, if you can do any sort of exhausting exercise at all it will be beneficial, just from a biochemical standpoint. You get cortisol and adrenaline built up in your body causing... |

I think a small acknowledgement if you cross paths again should suffice, like a smile and upward head nod in acknowledgement that you see and recognize the other person. Or you could just try a small joking comment in passing like "It's you again!" or "Small world!" or "We meet again!" or "Fancy me... |

It's a "stop codon" as we say in genetics. I don't know why it's popular but I'm with the NTs on this one. Same with "hello" (a "start codon"). I don't like it when people don't do those procedures. Haha. If I was a strand of DNA I would be cancer-causing. I always forget to use my "stop codons". :... |

You definitely need a plan in place to stop yourself before you start. Gather up all of the most distracting mental things you can think of that will prevent you from getting to that mental point. And have a plan in place for if you do feel like doing X to yourself. Find something similar that you c... |

What I've been trying to do is "copy" eye contact. In other words, when I am with someone, I will try to hold eye contact for as long as they do, then if they look away I will also look away and look back when they do. Easier said than done but I think it's helped me out a lot, especially consideri... |

I don't think a simple hiccup with a physics class is worth your parents reaction. Unless said physics class cost them like $50k, they're in no position to react like this. It's your future, not theirs. They're the ones throwing your future away, not you. Agreed. Unless there's something you're not... |
