As much as I am sympathetic that you have a fear a genuine service dog allows people to do things that would otherwise be impossible. I don’t agree with the way some people claim their dogs are service dogs but as a person who massively prefers animals to people I am surprised but also sympathetic t...

I have a bit of a special interest in assistance dogs (specifically those for autism) my own dog was bought with the hope of becoming my assistance dog but due to her own disabilities (she suffers from CCD- the dog version of OCD) she will never be able to work. I wondered how many people have dogs ...

Hi everyone, I have been wearing prescribed tinted lenses for almost a year. They are a dark green in colour. As the weather gets dimmer and summer goes away people are, once again beginning to blatantly stare at me. I understand that many people thought they were sunglasses and perhaps wonder why I...

I am looking for some advice on how to deal with my own emotions after a mutually agreed break up with my partner. We were both happy to split for the time being (at least), but since we have split things have become a little hard for me. She is my best friend and one of the reasons for the split wa...

Hi everyone, I am desperately looking for some advice here. I have recently mutually and happily ended a two and a half year relationship with a girl who started off as my best friend. She has ASD but is undiagnosed so far. To begin with we worked really well but as time went on both of us started t...

Hi everyone, do any of you who live in the UK have assistance dogs for your autism. I have been looking towards getting an assistance dog for a long time. I have medical conditions and physical issues due to dyspraxia, however, I am not 'disabled enough' to require a service dog for any of these. I ...

I have anxiety, as many of us do, but I feel the majority of my anxiety is around my relationship with my girlfriend. She has ASD although hasn't been officially diagnosed yet. She also happens to be the best friend I have ever had, better than I could ever have imagined having. We have been in a re...

Bumbleme
I found out by accident when trying on different coloured sunglasses in a shop, I put on the blue ones and they made a dramatic change to how I saw everything. It was as if the light to dark ratio had been changed and I was seeing things in a 'normal' light.

Hi everyone, I was wondering if there is anyone who wears coloured lenses in their glasses, or coloured lenses without other sight issues. Around two years ago I discovered that it made an enormous difference for me to wear blue sunglasses. I feel they make my depth perception and such a huge amount...

People aren't going to like this opinion but I absolutely detest SpongeBob. I find the character way too silly. I also disliked Bella in the twilight series, I felt the secondary characters were more enjoyable and realistic. I also dislike Scarlett witch, I think this is because she became the favou...

I personally, am not bad at telling what other people feel, my problems are with what I feel. I personally don't think Hermione's ability to be social discounts her from being autistic.

hmm..I can totally see where you are coming from, personally I see Hermione as an Aspie but many people disagree. I mean she is logical, highly intelligent, loves rules, not really into a lot of girly things, fights for the right things, has few friends but is very close to the ones she does have, h...

I don't know all the MCU characters particularly well, my special interest at the moment revolves around Black Widow and thus she is my favorite MCU character. My least favorites are probably some of the stereotypes, such as the villain Whiplash in Iron Man two. I agree that Frigga was done badly, a...

I am having a bit of an issue at the moment, an issue which is getting more cringey and worse to cope with by the day. Since my girlfriend disclosed to me recently about the reality of her parent's break up I have become slightly obsessed by her family and more specifically her Mum. It isn't a true ...
