i can understand your mom's concern. I almost banned my son from watching "deathnote" (It's an anime show), because he always walks around so morbid. However, once we sat down and talked, I decided I was over-reacting. We parent's tend to do that. Hopefully, affter talking tour mom, she will lighten...

This is the most frustrating and thankless job I have ever had, I put in so much effort for so little gain....is there a better way. Ah....motherhood. You asked about what to do when he talks back, is rude and hits his sister. Do what you would do with any child. Enforce the consequences. Reward hi...

I am wondering how old you are and have you always felt this way, even as a child? I can't really give you an answer on why you feel this way. Some of it may be an asperger's thing, but I do not have asperger's syndrome (my son does) and I have felt these feelings sometimes too. Sometimes, depressio...

I know someone like that too. I guess alot of that is teenage stuff. Maybe he would go out with you and your wife if it was something that interested him a little bit. Sometimes I just tell my son "You are going with us and that's final". Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't.

This can come in handy if you are the parent. I told my son not to eat in on his new carpet because he could hurt the carpet's fibers, which are like it's soul. I hope this wasn't mean.

gender confused werewolf....that reminds me a of a letter that was sent home from my son's principal saying that she was concerned that he was calling everyone a "cat gender checker".

Hamster Hamster (he says that for thank you, which makes him uncomfortable to say he claims...sheesh!)

I am wondering if anyone out there uses random words over and over again and says them out the blue in no reference to anything. My fifteen year old son does this. Sexy jackass was one of the sayings. The funny part is the rest of the family will adopt these sayings. Sometimes itseems they are ebarr...

Wow, I could have written that myself (except for the 5 jobs part)! I also lose my patience sometimes. Once in a while I have to send myself to my room, or go out in the car and scream. My son is very stubborn and I find that what works best is to be very methodical. If you do a, you get b. If you d...

I try to keep emotionally detached from in-laws. My father in-law is ok though. At least he agress with my son that it is wrong to have an odd number of periods in a hockey game. As for my parents, they are all freaked out. I don't know why I chose to vent to them one day. It is hard to vent to anyo...

i don't think it is the sound that bothers him. It seems more like he can't stand the feeling of it.

I think you have to remember that these things are edited.
in addition, some of these moms are exhausted and may get little support. So they say their innermost feelings. At least they are attempting to take care of of very difficult children.

Our dentist prescribes a valium, and it did seem to help. He had tried an atihistaminse previously to make hime drwosy, but it ended up making him jittery and spacy. Also, try to find a dentist that you are comforatble with.

I agree with agent79! I used to only wear those mesh athletic shorts because the feeling of denim fabric irritated the hell out of me so much. I wore about 6 pairs consecutively for 3.5 years before finally putting on some khaki pants. I'd wear the athletic shorts even when it was raining outside. I...

Has anybody else had this experience with there child? My son is almost 15 years old and has never been big on laughing because he syas he hates it. Last night , he started laughing about something silly his step-father said and then he began to hit himself, call himself names and started crying. It...
