I'm 34 and still get asked for ID at the bottle-o (minimum drinking age in New Zealand is 18.)
When people ask me I usually grin and say "Thanks for the compliment!" |

Real bummer when someone won't talk to you, but it's good that you recognise the need to give her some space. I would suggest find something broader but related, onto which you might shift your interest, perhaps. Immerse yourself in an alternative hobby or interest that doesn't involve particular sp... |

I'm renting so I don't think I could! And not into gardening either. But for the repetitive action to clear my head I do like to shuffle a pack of cards or something like that. |

I don't think that "physically weaker" is accurate -- I'm fairly strong in my arms too, not so much in my legs -- but some people have less physical co-ordination and so cannot utilise that strength as well. The one that pees me off, as a writer, is "lacks imagination". I know of many aspies with ex... |

Official diagnosis is costly and difficult to obtain, and open to even professional disagreement. Not everyone can afford it, for starters! You might be wrong as a self-diagnosed aspie, but even professionals (so called) can be wrong at the end of the day. There's no reason for any elitist attitude:... |

I was never able to understand what social media is for. If you see the person, no need for Facebook to communicate with them. And if you don't see them, what do you want to update them about you for? Also, I have different levels of disclosure with different people - boss, family, friends - so I n... |

Hi guys. Sorry to be a bother. I'm looking for some help on a project I'm doing for "Creative Non Fiction" at uni. on the use of facebook, forums and other social online media by people with ASD. I understand if you do not wish to respond -- time is precious and all that. However I would be absolute... |

I have no opinion of Twilight itself as I have neither read or seen it (yet-- my mum bought me a copy for Christmas one year and I do intend to read it at some point; oh hell it won't cost me anything but time!) I do think it's kind of weird the hate that is going around for this -- being as I am a ... |

Help her out with an orchestral arrangement for Smelly Cat, and I'm sure she'd love ya for it. |

hmm... This is a very good question, and one that I will have to think about a bit more, so don't be surprised if more answers come... But, off the top of my head. Does Pixar count? Because if so, then Up.
If not then I'll have to think about it a bit -- Honestly the dead mum thing in Bambi had become a bit of a cliche by the time I'd seen it. (Which was not so late in life.) |

Most of this time I would have been in my teens and early twenties, but I really liked those Nickolodeon cartoons that weren't just trying to be gross -- like Wild Thornberries and Rugrats. But Ren & Stimpy, Rocko, Aah Real Monsters and some of those others now strike me as being kind of shallow... |
