There are funny parts to having autism, and I think it's okay to laugh about that. The very best autism story I ever read, and this is SO GREAT, it was on this stupid things you said or did thread I started. It was about "paint the bunny" when a grammar school teacher brought in her belov...

I mean they're both fat. Very simple. ahem. those are not exactly "comfortable" statements for many people to read, especially those who are within those descriptions. this would be better off to be posted in politics, philosophy and religion subforum. if you post them elsewhere, such as ...

Spice World! I loved the Spice Girls as a small child and I enjoy how random and silly the movie was.

Also, I like the Fred: The Movie and Vampires Suck.

I'm not able to attend any events in my area. They're either for children or they expect you to know how to drive.

That is really interesting to me because Autism sets in during the second trimester of pregnancy. So I wonder if it could be because of different conditions in the womb with each pregnancy or if it has to do with hormonal or chemical differences with the mother. I know that a child's genotype is af...

He was shocked when I told him about circumcision rates in America.

You don't look particularly Middle Eastern to me and I don't know how make-up would make you look Middle Eastern unless unless you are using something that darkens your tan. One of the things that are part of the whole contouring makeup trend is to wear foundation darker than your actual skin tone....

The children I can tolerate the most are my young family members. Most children bother me and at times remind me of the abuse I dealt with when I was their age. :(

A lot of people tell me when I let them know of my diagnosis is, "You don't seem like you have Asperger's Syndrome." They don't realize that people with Asperger's Syndrome can LEARN social skills and appear somewhat normal because of it. I've had to learn social skills like I do with scho...

I was scared of them as a kid and hid with my dogs. When I was a teenager and my mom was vacuuming, I would let them hide in my room because I understood why they didn't them.

I got a 14 out of 14. I think the reason why I did well is because I've had this weird fixation on faces when I'm giving eye contact. I don't just look at eyes, I look at different parts of people's faces that make theirs unique. Now if you asked me to describe their face, THAT'S where I would have ...

I can't recall ever posting in this part of the forum, and none of what I'm going to say is directed at anyone in this forum. I'm tired of hearing so many opposing views about so many political and social issues! I do my best to listen to different views on different topics, but it's making my own o...

Studying maps is a hobby of mine. I can spend hours on Google Maps. But using one to actually navigate is another thing. Especially something like a mall directory. I have very poor navigational skills. Except when playing Lord of the Rings Online. I can navigate that pretty good. If I have been al...
