for whatever reason it worked out coming out for me, but my aspie tendencies and adhd made me very prone to having very little great friends, but my quirky behavior was fun to those in small doses, and since my mom kept me over occupied to deal with the ADHD; day started at 6am and ended at 9pm with...

I really want close friendships with people, but I don't want a sexual relationship. You'd think that wouldn't be too much to ask, but every time I manage to get close to someone, they always want to make it romantic and weird. Is it even possible to have a close friendship that is platonic and doe...

That is all we need, people already view me as different enough. If the guy isnt prosecuted it could be a liability to hire a programmer (like me) that can't be held accountable for his mistakes because I "don't no better" And a programmer who can't spell the word "know"- has problems enough! Lol! ...

I try to laugh off my issues with spatial cognition. I run into door frames, poke my eyes when I sneeze and attempt to cover my face... its all annoying, humiliating and people joke calling me drunk (even though I don't drink or do any drugs - outside my fluoxetine). It's weird because I can manage ...

In the USA, it is outright ilegal for an employer to fire an employee for having a disability. Its called the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Do they have something like that in Germany? If there is something like that, use it. I had a similar experience. A person in authority (not even my b...

Anyone follow football, notice that Cutler seems to have many aspie like qualities? He isn't rude during interviews, just matter of fact. He doesn't look up much during interviews. He gets caught up with anger at innapropriate times. People say he is pouting, but I seem him just as focused; when I p...

I have a difficult reading sarcasm, so I have been practicing; my trouble is, while I remain totally gullible, every time I try to be sarcastic, people see me as lying. That part where "they get it" never seems to happen, and I don't know if I am supposed to say, just kidding or something. Like, I o...

Does anyone with AS (diagnosed here) have a hard time not noticing every single thing that is wrong with the physical characteristics of others... like I always notice others faces, symmetry, and ticks they may have. I feel bad that I cant stop focusing on these things when I have my own ticks (main...
