I only wish it was for the sake of health insurance purposes in the US of A... Other than that, I don't feel like it falls into a mental or a physical condition, per se. It's a question of gender identity, which lays between both areas. Risky.

Yeah, I've had four real jobs (busking doesn't count, right?), and been fired from three of them for meltdowns on the clock. Of those three, the longest lasting one was two months. My first job was my best, I worked there for almost five years and was practically a manager coming out of high school,...

Yeah, lots of them can be pretty clique-y. I went to a large Texas public school that's not UT, and it surprisingly had a fairly large GLBT group. It was fun for about half of my first freshman semester, I even got voted in as a student representative, but I'm not big into politics and that's ALL th...

I'm just curious, as a mother to a 3 year old who may be talented in that way, how your son's ability began to show. I'm sorry I can't answer your question about software. I'm adopting this as my pet topic. :) When I was around your kid's age, I started begging my parents for a violin. I don't know...

I'm not "proud" of it, it's just who I am. I wouldn't change it and I'll fight for it, but I'm not all "HEY GUYS I'M HERE I'M QUEER AND I'M AUTISTIC LOVE ME OR GTFO." It's a non-issue for me unless someone comes at me directly.

[quote=] I am transgendered (ftm) which moderately confuses the concepts of 'gay' and 'straight' sex. 'Gay sex' in which the other participant, regardless of biological sex, acts* as and treats me as male is very satisfying. 'Gay' sex in which the person, regardless of biological sex, acts as and tr...

I got lucky and befriended an Aspie gay guy who also happened to be a go-go dancer (strange but true). He taught me how to dance at the club. So I'm an androgynously queer somewhat female, dancing like a gay cage dancer. It's a strange sight but at least I can dance.

I've got a best BEST friend. We refer to each other as such. We're both Aspies, and we've known each other since we were fourteen. I'm really close to three other Auties/Aspies I met in college, but we don't live near each other right now. My bro guyfriend doesn't live near me either, but we get tog...

I guess I just got lucky in college as a freshman. I'm still very very good friends with the three people I decided to connect with while I was there. I met them through a student organization and we all instantly clung to each other. I've lived with all of them, been on trips with them, visited the...

I'm saving up for a Yamaha Stryker. Motorcycle noise hasn't ever bothered me unless it's from a whiny crotch-rocket. No offense to sports-bike riders, I love the way the bikes look but I like a lower center of gravity. Low rumbly engines, please.

Cotton and only cotton. No blend less than 75%. I seriously refuse to wear anything else. I actually like 100% cotton, especially in t-shirts, because I am scrawny and a size small in guys is still too baggy, I like my clothes to be "fitted" but not clinging. So I wash every new shirt on hot three o...

Borderlands 2, AssCreed 3, Dishonored, Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider, Beyond: Two Souls (mainly for Ellen Page). Lots of little indies coming out that I'll spend my pocket change on at Steam.

Can anyone recommend a good, inexpensive, software to enhence my 13 year old Aspie sons love for music? Or inexpensive entry level sound equipment? He has a Casio keyboard, takes paino lessons and plays trumpet in the high school marching band. He hears and "feels" the music on a level I don't unde...

All of this. I haven't comfortably identified as a lesbian in years, although I am a biological female who mainly sleeps with other females. I consider myself to be queer/trans. My best friend refers to me as a "transgender twink bi boy." It's pretty accurate. :D I feel more like a male (I'm pretty ...

I'm a pretty gung-ho advocate of bicycling for transportation. I'm one of "those people" with a Share The Road button on my messenger bag. I used to have a single speed (fixie as some call them) when I made spending money as a delivery girl in College Station and Austin TX, usually put in 20+ miles ...
