Self Harm
Because we tend to bottle up our pain and not show others.

Hitting Out
Because we find it hard to control strong emotions.

I know they are sort of contradictory, but they make sense if youve been through them.

It's strange but people don't seem to like being corrected. Like, they would rather just continue to be wrong. I don't know why that is. Its because people have to be right. Do they know about your Aspergers/Autism? Because I find that people REALLY dislike being corrected by someone who "isn't as ...

I'm always dreading school on sundays, so much, that I often forget to enjoy my sundays. I feel more comfortable at home and because I find social interaction so hard, I often wish that I no longer had to go to school. But I don't want to drop out, so I just live with it the best I can. I'm current...

Spirit Day, on Deviantart, is a community project meant to raise awareness for bullying. Or something. I think everyone's aware now. Is anyone else here on Deviantart? If so, did you post something for Spirit Day? Favorite image? This one's my favorite: Image Link If you are not on Deviantart, is t...

When I'm at school, I get very stressed, very easily. I am getting so stressed at the moment, as we are doing controlled assessments. I sit in these lessons getting so stressed, feeling myself getting right to the edge. I'm really worried that Im going to go over the edge and have a breakdown in the...

I think the "not a magic wand" part meant that developing the battleships would not solve all German problems. Still not sure what he meant by an umbrella. MAybe he was trying to say it was not very effective. Might need more context to get a better clue. Military strategy liekened to umbrela I am ...

I find that a lot of these thing apply to me, especially the thing about eye contact and looking at peoples mouths. And what you were saying about brushing your teeth, I find (after years of struggling with this) that using warm water helps so much.

Ok, so I'm 14 and I'm still scared of the dark. Embarrassing I know. But the wierd thing is that I prefer the night to the dark because it is darker and quieter and just more peacefull. And I really cant work out what is going on here!

Depending on how quickly you write, you could just write the whole text out. I have a friend (is it NT you call them? Non-Aspergers anyway) who writes really fast, and so if a teacher complains then she just writes out the whole thing. Personally, I cant listen and take notes at the same time, or re...
