to be honest, i probably by rights should have been diagnosed with aspergers but my psychologist gave me a high functioning autism diagnosis instead, probably in foresight of this change. I have only one family person I want to see: my aspie son. I bought him a nice present. Christmas is about family and since I am not interested in seeing any of the rest of my family I will ignore Christmas this year. |

I can easily do information exchange. I don't do social stuff to build alliances and play office politics. I spent over 25 years working in finance for large corporations. My aspie brain is very good at analysis and while I am horrible in social situations, decades of therapy helped me to learn how to look normal in more formal situations.
