So I'm taking a French class which is designed to improve your conversational skills in that language- for example, having the right pronunciation, saying things in the right way, etc. I like doing the homework, which is a page-long essay and 10 definitions per week. It's so we don't forget how to w...

So I'm taking a class on Shakespeare right now and, next to my abnormal psychology class, it's the absolute best.

Any other Aspies out there fans of the Bard?

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/gossip/story/481108p-404876c.html I initially saw the above quote on a friend's Facebook and was immediately prompted to Google it, and thus came across this article. It's the first article on the page, the one about David Mamet. Thoughts? Especially on the whole "pre...

I think my Asperger's is making me out to be a bad person. As part of my Asperger's, I have various obsessions, as do quite a few of you, but unlike most of you, some of these obsessions have been with people. That is, people that I have liked romantically. I don't know why- maybe it's because of my...

I have a final on the 19th, followed by two papers (one is 12-15 pages long) that are due on the 21st, which is also the day that I'm returning home for break. I'm also moving into a different room, so I have to pack before then also. However, classes end on Tuesday for us, and so we've been really ...

I think I might be in love. There's a part of me that isn't sure, though. I do know that I really want her to be happy, and I really want to make her happy. She has a girlfriend, and although I can make her happy by letting her be with her girlfriend, I want to be the one to make her happy. I know t...

I love Homestar Runner. I don't particularly care for Homestar, though.

I do like Strong Bad, the Cheat, and Pom Pom. The only reason, other than the Teen Girl Squad, that I go on homestarrunner.com is to look at the SB e-mails. Those, in my opinion, are the pinnacle of modern American comedy.

So, one of the many things that I plan on doing when I get out of college is being a comic book artist. Not the superhero kind, but the alternative kind. And among other things, I plan on writing a story in comic form (although it may be a whole book, we'll see) about a guy who has Asperger's and is...

I'm not too big into the Beatles, but that's because I haven't had the opportunity to listen to many of their songs. I do like "Lady Madonna" a lot, and I really like the version on the new LOVE CD that just came out.

I do think that I'm great with small talk and talking to people in the workplace and things like that. I also try to be careful of what I say; a lot of times I think about whether or not I plan to say is OK to say in a certain situation. I am fairly good at keeping friends, I think, but college make...

British comedy, World War I, royal families, rare diseases (I used to want to be a doctor), law, people (mainly crushes, but until recently I didn't think my AS had anything to do with it), mythology, alternative comics, punk culture. And those are just a few. Some of them are long gone, and some of...

Even though I shouldn't, and I know I shouldn't, I still do. I think it's because I want so badly to make friends that I become obsessive about every move I make and then start thinking that they care about whatever it is that I'm doing wrong.

It depends on the mood I'm in. A lot of times I don't care, but sometimes when I'm in a bad/sad mood I'll see a couple on or off campus and it almost makes me cry.

I'm a bi female aspie, and I've been out for about a year. As for the whole attractiveness/looks like a guy issue, I've been told that I'm attractive, but I do have self-esteem issues so I don't always believe that. I don't think I look masculine, but I don't look femme either. I used to dress all f...
