21st Century Schizoid Man. The lyrics are pretty disjointed, but the ones that make sense are of alienation, and the music backs it up. It's how my mind feels. I just like the word schizoid, and the way I feel alienated fits the description of schizoid personality at times, so I use it as my username.

So is Asperger's really a part of one's personality? And it isn't really an illness? (I'm new to this idea and found out I may have Asperger's not long ago, sorry.) I just don't see how...I mean, it causes me unhappiness at times...such as strong misunderstandings and rough patches with my loved on...

I don't think this is as much an ASD/NT dichotomy as it is Introvert/Extrovert, though aspies may be more prone to it.

Not echolalia but my word stim (if you can call it a word!) is doing farting noises. :oops: I was out walking my rabbit one evening and was doing these funny farting noises to myself. I like to amuse myself like that. Until I realized one of my neighbours had popped out to have a smoke and was well...

All benzos are terrible for long term use. They actually caused panic attacks when I experienced withdrawal, and I ended up in detox, getting librium for the comedown. It wasn't fun.
