21st Century Schizoid Man. The lyrics are pretty disjointed, but the ones that make sense are of alienation, and the music backs it up. It's how my mind feels. I just like the word schizoid, and the way I feel alienated fits the description of schizoid personality at times, so I use it as my username. |

Yep, as sad as it seems, it's necessary. A barrier to protect yourself. I have done the same thing. |

So is Asperger's really a part of one's personality? And it isn't really an illness? (I'm new to this idea and found out I may have Asperger's not long ago, sorry.) I just don't see how...I mean, it causes me unhappiness at times...such as strong misunderstandings and rough patches with my loved on... |

Was the risperdall for OCD? I had a lousy experience with it for that. Why did you stop taking it? It sounds like it was helping you. |

I don't think this is as much an ASD/NT dichotomy as it is Introvert/Extrovert, though aspies may be more prone to it. |

Not echolalia but my word stim (if you can call it a word!) is doing farting noises. I was out walking my rabbit one evening and was doing these funny farting noises to myself. I like to amuse myself like that. Until I realized one of my neighbours had popped out to have a smoke and was well... |

All benzos are terrible for long term use. They actually caused panic attacks when I experienced withdrawal, and I ended up in detox, getting librium for the comedown. It wasn't fun. |

I can't stand when people have photos of them locking lips as their profile photo. Mostly my beef is the lack of autonomy this implies. Plus I believe it's nobody's business, but maybe that's just me. I believe nobody cares that you are in a relationship, and all it does is anger tthose who aren't w... |
