I suspect I have it, even my primary care doctor and psychiatrist think so. I have many issues with temperature, textures of clothes and food, lights, sounds etc... I even sleep with a weighted blanket. Although, I'm not on the spectrum I can relate a lot to those who are because of my sensory quirk...

If a boss point blank asks you to disclose you don't have to answer, they are in direct violation of your health privacy under HIPPA. That being said, while I am not officially diagnosed as being on the spectrum (though I suspect I am), I do have many anxiety disorders and suffer from bouts of depre...

I am a woman and I feel fine saying that, I may not fit neatly into the female gender type but it doesn't matter to me. I don't wear makeup, do my nails etc... I hate clothes shopping, find fashion trends boring to follow and rarely wear a dress. At the same time, I love cute and cuddly things, scre...

I do the same, at the moment I'm obsessed with imagining living in the distant future like the year 3000. I picture this in my mind, than try to construct a lucid dream from it. Of course there are hints of sci-fi mixed in, like me having telekinesis or something.

<----------------- Super clumsy Just yesterday I hit my head on the corner of a table at work... Most days I run into things or trip. I am certainly not coordinated for dancing or sports. Once you start setting up you can set up a room that feels familiar. It help a lot when you move and put up heavy curtains in that room. Ask some one who went to 8 different schools by tenth grade. Good tip! And wow 8?! That must have been awful... :( Yeah, for me my calming room is the one that my...

Ah labels I have a few myself: ~Generalized Anxiety Disorder (formally diagnosed) ~Panic Disorder with Agoraphobia (formally diagnosed) ~some OCD (formally diagnosed) ~lots of sensory issues and AS traits (so I suspect on spectrum) But at the same time you have to focus on the good things, like your...

You will notice early effects like you noted so it is not your imagination, after all you introduced a chemical to your body. When I first began taking Paxil I noticed the first day I was mellow, because in contrast I had spent the three years leading up to that panicking constantly 24/7. As far as ...

I too have intrusive thoughts and do have mild OCD according to my therapist. To me a thought is intrusive when it constantly pops into your head regularly and you find it distracting. If you find yourself overanalyzing and obsessing about the thought then it turns into a compulsion.
