Can I get a version of this for the phone? An automated voice that comes on when you pick up the phone and says: "This person has aspergers syndrome, please hang up immediately". The GPS lady could do it, if she's free.

Can completely relate. Everything I say to my parents about what I struggle with they reply with: "but EVERYONE feels like that to some extent". I guess I was naive to think a Dx would lead to understanding and support and not a list of things I could/should be doing in order to "get over it". I don...

Imitation whore, right here. I'm like the Aladdin of imitating people, stealing the unleavened bread and bird tongues of other people's mannerisms and ways of speaking. Including, for a time after the film came out, Aladdin.

Meditation has helped me immensely, once I found out how to do it properly. I used to think meditation was something you have to try and do, and that you have to sit in an uncomfortable position and have your eyes closed and burn incense and have your nipples clamped etc. in order to achieve a state...

Gathering what I could from he last few words of your post, I agree. I post on this site in order to entertain the infantile part of me that thinks posting on here will make some kind of difference to my life. I pretty much regret every single post immediately after I've done it, including/especiall...

groisht Believe me, if I could force myself to lose hope I would. Right now it's like self-torture when I sit down and tell myself a thousand times, "You are not going to succeed. It is too late in your life. Give up.". And do it until I'm sick with misery and feel numb to everything else. And then...

The grass will continue to grow, with or without you. Same goes for all of us. What you are hoping for will eventually become boring. Look at all the people who have everything you say you want and who are just as depressed as you. The lack of anything good happening to you is a blessing. All of yo...

I don't even consider myself in the company of others when I'm in the company of others. They're not there, I'm not there, nobody's anywhere. It's good. I recently heard a person saying they were having a dream in which they were having sex but they were alone. Another person broke in and said "You...

The point is that there is a certain non-verbal give and take that you need to understand in order to be able to tell if the other person has any interest in you. The thing about small talk is how it works on the female brain. Women get a certain rush of endorphins from talking. If you can trigger ...

What you don't see in the video is the gun that the guy's pointing at the girl below his waist. Good video for turning us all into robots who want robot girlfriends, but I can get a robot girlfriend anytime I want without even saying anything, even if it is slightly more expensive than getting a "re...

I don't think I've gotten worse since finding this site, just slightly more comfortable in reading about other people's experiences and how similar they are to mine. Spending too long in that comfort zone I don't think is a good idea, but sometimes you just need a reminder that there are people goin...
