Seriously @ llka your comment is strange. If you ask a stupid question that beckons a negative answer, what do you expect? I can only assume you mean my question, since Iilka didn't ask one. I was asking for advice. If I'd wanted a reply like this one I would have just asked my dad. You are right a... |

I saw this preview a few days ago. I liked how they told the story backwards. However, watching this reminded me that Dishonored is coming out soon and I was way more excited about that. |

...because I find that my family does not. My most recent frustration comes from the fact that everything seems to be my fault when it comes to my family's oppinion. Even worse, I try my best to understand why they think this and try to figure out what I did wrong, but I never really get it. Worse s... |

Now I see that it's been undone again. Did some coder un-correct it out of spite? Or was there a system glitch that made it look this way? It was made to make you happy :D , then sad  Whatever. Cite a source if you wish me to believe you. Taking jokes way too seriously. You're doing it ... |

Also, the word 'botanically' is incorrect when describing humans, as the very definition of the word is of or relating to plant life or the study and/or science of plants. |

Actually, people that have ASD are not of a different race. ASD is something that can affect any person, in any part of the world, regardless of ethnicity and receiving a professional diagnosis does not suddenly alter your genetic makeup. At the very least you could really only say, if you felt that... |

I dont call it anything because I try and avoid any conversation where that subject might come up. If it does come up, I try and change the subject. If that doesnt work, I leave the room. |

Maybe it hasn't been fixed because they have more pressing issues to handle. If it annoys you that much, you might consider not using the website anymore.
Ive never actualy had this problem myself, thoug I havent been a member here too long. |

The strangest one for me would have to be the fiber optic ornaments...or rather, the wires inside the ornaments. I've already purchased a few of the ornaments I've come across and proceeded to bring them home and carefuly smash them to bits with a hammer so that I could extract the fiber optic wires... |

Maybe the trend to try and identify well known, sucessful people with ASD in these forums is more because some people like knowing that, despite having ASD, these people lived a great life, were happy and acheived the things they saught to acheive. And maybe knowing this gives some comfort to those ... |

Hearing windchimes before a storm hits
Digging in the dirt in my veggie garden
Petting my cat
Tea and cheescake
The smell of a new book
The smell of an old book
Nightime showers
McDonald's french fries
Having the house to myself for a day
The crisp feeling in the air when you get up early |

I never thought I was one of those people that would get upset about a disruption in my routine, mostly because I couldn't really pinpoint anything I could classify as a routine...until the other day when one of my, aparently very real, routines was, well, interrupted. It's not something I do every ... |

Sort of...I usually do it when I'm driving, or when I'm in the passenger seat. I obsessively check license plates...almost every car I pass unless it presents a hazard...which it sometimes almost does. And street signs, bilboards and stuff...but I get annoyed if there are too many for me to read bef... |

I don't even have a fixed appointment for my first visit to the psychologist/psychiatrist (I'm still trying to gather the courage to get a referral from my doctor) and I'm already feeling overwhelmingly anxious about it. I feel sick just thinking about being in a little office alone with some person... |

I'm 23 and I've never had one either. The thought of anyone touching me like that makes me want to vomit and I actually start to panic just thinking about it here at my computer desk. I know it is an important exam and its quick and easy and everything...I just don't think I could make it past the r... |
