| Let your doc take the lead. Preparing yourself for the why do you think you have AS question is a good idea though. Just be truthful, you discovered this disorder and the symptoms associated with it and you think that you display enough of the characteristics of AS to warrant being screened for it. ... |

| Ok. That was easier to understand. You see if you bombard us with information in that manic way your symptoms become to broad and you could be diagnosed with almost anything. The thing with AS is it's a spectrum disorder. Many levels and layers to it that can be mistaking for something else. I think... |

| With my psychologist I simply asked to be tested for Apergers. My son was recently diagnosed. I took an Aspergers and NT Quotient test and scored high on the AS quotient and below average on the NT. That's all there was to it. Now that I've excepted it I'm just trying to decide what to do about it. |

I've yet to fully embrace and appreciate the differences between my NT wifes version of order and my bare bones and streamed line view of it.
But sometimes I think i only love myself because she loves me.
