My executive functioning becomes worse or better depending on how much stress I've been experiencing in other ways. For example, if I've been having many sensory issues, or if I've had too much forced socializing that wasn't on my terms, my ability to come home and do practical things that need to ... |

I have Tourettes, and nothing is working. I've tried Tenex, clonidine, Abilify, Strattera, and Risperdal. Now they've got me on Orap. Any experiences with this med? |

Alcohol works for me, too, as long as I go easy on it. Otherwise, I get, shall we say, too social. |

Yes....I sweat so much. Plus although I wear deodorant, I don't wear antiperspirant. I've learned not to care about what people think about it, but it is sometimes uncomfortable to be wet. |

It hurts the most when kids ask out without any inhibitions. It's quite the opposite for me. I find their straightforwardness and genuine, non-judgmental curiosity refreshing. What I hate is when adults judge you without knowing anything about you other than the abnormalities you display, and then ... |

I hate LA, and I feel trapped here. Once you move here, it is extremely difficult to move out because of the expense. It's huge, loud, bright, noisy, full of people...the only thing I like about LA is that it's close to mountains and beaches. Yet, the beaches are crowded, and so are the nearby hikin... |

Okay I did lie when I said I like socializing with them because I really like talk about when I was interested in and I lied when I said I didn't have difficultys with others either that or I was still oblivious I don't remember. This one tiny bit might have a lot to do with their evaluation. If yo... |

AH...the dreaded leg shaving.... I hate shaving my legs with a passion -- always have. It takes forever -- I'm brunette and pretty hairy, so I have to make sure I get it all or l look like I have the mange. It grows back quickly, and when it starts growing back, it itches so badly I draw blood tryi... |

Every time I've "disclosed" I've gotten this reaction. I just don't mention it anymore. And yes, I'm diagnosed. |

That's funny... I've tried many, many antidepressants over the years and just recently found a combination that seems like it might work for me : Effexor and Lamictal. I tried the Effexor by itself before I was diagnosed as bipolar and it didn't work. But it seems to be working a bit now that I'm on... |

I took Lexapro (in combination with a mood stabilizer, since I'm bipolar), and it did absolutely nothing for my depression/anxiety, and absolutely nothing for my sensory issues (light and sound, mostly), though it was not prescribed for those. However, be wary of what other people say works or doesn... |

Women, in todays society, are expected to want to do other peoples cooking and laundry and wear make up and uncomfortable clothing and stupid high heels and spend all afternoon at beauty salons loading their system up with chemicals to look pretty and shave in places I don't want to... |
