I've never been one to sing, but I do find my self whistling and humming quite often when ever I'm in a "good" mood . No particular tune or song, just various consistent frequencies, or short melodic like things. I did this a lot as a kid, I would sit and humm various frequencies. It would feel very...

I used to have a very chatty & loud mind at times when I was younger. I remember there were times I would be walking around the playground by my self in elementary school with my thoughts rambling & racing about, never ending. Most of the time I was in a purely observation/contemplative mode...

I never believed in Santa....I've always pondered the veracity of things. Same here, and the same goes for "god"/religion. I wanted to believe...but the whole story of Santa, what he does & how he does it, none of it added up or made sense to me so I was very skeptical of it all and never reall...

I hate all the sounds of industrial civilization. That's how I feel as well. There's literally about 4 or 5 ambulances that go by every day, a fire truck or two, and lots of motorcycles. Sirens, motorcycles, dogs barking, big trucks going down the road, noise from the road, etc etc....I can't tune ...

I've never had any sort of plan or specific ambition either - the entire idea is bizarre to me. And - I don't know if this is the same thing, but it's probably related - I particularly have no concept of being able to take specific steps to change my life in a certain direction. E.g. rationally I m...

Generally speaking, when hanging out with a friend or two in a "neutral" setting like outdoors at a park or something, after an hour or two I'm pretty much ready to have some alone time. I get to a point where I start to become much quieter and go "inward", start "spacing out" a lot more, and feel t...

So my question to my fellow Asperger's is: do you drink/do drugs and if so how what do you like to partake in and how often do you do it? Personally I enjoy doing various types of drugs and drinking. Lately I have been doing a lot of drinking/drugs because I don't really have any friends and just s...

I have been wondering the same, how people go about paying for such a thing....I don't know where to start with any of this, as far as the process. I often get into a back & forth thought loop of whether I should look into getting an official diagnosis or not, how or why I should and how it woul...

I'll occasionally have a cigarette, it's not a regular thing though. I don't consider my self to be a "cigarette smoker", just as I don't consider my self to be a "drinker", but I do enjoy beer and will occasionally have a beer or two. I've gone a month or two with having at least one cigarette a da...

I don't think people on the spectrum lack empathy/humanity so much as experience it in different ways then NTs. I do think there may be something to autistics being more detached under certain circumstances. I too do not experience a significant emotional response to death, other then anxiety when ...

I like to touch things while I am walking around so that keeps my arms busy. I am usually touching something on my clothing or my bag, like rubbing a button or playing with a zipper pull, or twirling a string around my finger. I can't just let my arms hang. Sometimes I cross them. I usually don't h...

I like having the option of pockets, but I don't seek them out. My mom does that. She's always looking for shirts and sweaters that have pockets. :) Thank you for pointing out what those yogic poses are! How interesting. Looking at the photos, these do seem to be the yogic poses that would be possi...

You also have decreased saliva which leads to tooth decay,The "jaw jack" can also seriously damage teeth. Sure, this could possibly happen if someone is taking mdma frequently, in high doses, and doesn't take care of their body or oral hygiene. Which is irresponsible use anyways. I've never noticed...

I didn't quite literally mean side effects, but more so things like the fact that it's hard to tell what you're actually getting when you buy it, the fact that it's flat out ILLEGAL, and just other things like that. True. I mean you can get simple test kits to verify if what you have is MDMA or MDA...
